New Integration Option Connects Web Service with Back-End Systems

AUSTIN, TX & SAN FRANCISCO, CA — October 15, 2001 — Salesforce.com, the market leader in online customer relationship management (CRM), today announced a strategic partnership with Data Junction Corporation, developers of the world's most widely deployed data integration solutions, to provide new integration capabilities for salesforce.com customers. This new integration option will provide an efficient means to link salesforce.com's online CRM service with other enterprise systems and applications, at a substantially lower cost and timeframe than traditional enterprise application integration project approaches.

Salesforce.com has built its online CRM solution on an open XML platform in order to overcome the integration difficulties inherent in many web services and traditional client-server applications. Data Junction's award-winning solution, Data Junction Integration Suite, interoperates with salesforce.com's XML API. Featuring visual tools and an intuitive user interface, Data Junction Integration Suite seamlessly connects salesforce.com's online application to various back-end systems, as well as other business applications, providing an additional conduit for data sharing, manipulation, enrichment, and transfer.
