Salesforce.com's Marc Benioff named 2007 Agenda Setter and Top Ten Business Leader for Championing Software-as- a-Service

Third time for Benioff on United Kingdom’s silicon.com industry influencer list

Salesforce.com, the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced chairman and CEO Marc Benioff was named a 2007 Agenda Setter and Top Ten Business Leader by silicon.com for championing Software-as- a-Service.

It is the third time Benioff has placed on the Agenda Setter list and second time on the Top Ten Business Leader list where Benioff joins Steve Jobs of Apple, Eric Schmidt of Google, John Chambers of Cisco and Niklas Zennstrom of Skype. The winners were chosen by a panel of 14 judges from across the UK that included academics, analysts, consultants and silicon.com editors. The judges met last month in central London to debate candidates and then each nominated 20 individuals.
