Salesforce.com announces 1st Annual European Appy Award Winners at Dreamforce Europe
Appy Awards honour salesforce.com customers and partners who are leading the Software-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service revolution
Appy Award winners represent the salesforce.com customers and partners who have taken salesforce.com and the SaaS industry to new levels of development, customisation and application excellence. The 7 Appy Award categories recognise achievements in innovation leveraging both Software-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service, as well as in furthering the mission of the Salesforce.com Foundation.

The European Appy Awards highlight the leaders in our community who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in using and developing new SaaS applications with the Force.com Platform,” said salesforce.com chairman and CEO Marc Benioff.
On May 8th, Benioff and salesforce.com EMEA President Lindsey Armstrong presented awards to each winner in the 7 separate categories to a capacity crowd at London’s Barbican Centre.
The 7 categories are: the Salesforce CRM Success Award, the Salesforce Innovation Award, the Force.com Customer Innovation Award, the Force.com Partner Innovation Award, the SaaS Enterprise Best Practices Award, the SaaS Pioneer Award, and the Power of Us Award. Winners were chosen by an internal panel of experts based on a combination of usage metrics, technology innovation and business success related to their use of Salesforce applications and the Force.com Platform:
