Challenge
- Litmark was using a combination of Excel spreadsheets and post-it notes for record keeping and needed a more efficient system.
- The company was looking for a CRM solution that enabled it to keep track of all
its 1000 customers, including history/activity logs.
- Litmark had tried every CRM solution on the Norwegian market but none of them could meet the company’s requirements – they either lacked sufficient functionality, were difficult to use or expensive to implement.
Solution
- Litmark opened a Salesforce trial account and was impressed by its functionality.
- Litmark signed up for five user accounts for its sales and administration staff.
- Implementing Salesforce was easy and only required some minor changes to Litmark's mail servers.
Results
- Salesforce is being used by Litmark’s sales staff for processing customer orders – the customer’s complete history is now simply a click away.
- Litmark’s administration staff use Salesforce to generate statistic reports for more accurate stock control.
- Implementing Salesforce has enabled Litmark to save much time as all relevant information is easily available and customer databases can be seamlessly updated.
