Exposing Apex Methods as Web Services

You can expose your Apex methods so that external applications can access your code and your application. To expose your Apex methods, use WebService Methods.

Tip

Apex Web services allow an external application to invoke Apex methods through Web services. Apex callouts enable Apex to invoke external web or HTTP services.
