NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement)

Scope:  Category B: All ITC/AV services that meet the definition and provide an enterprise-wide solution are within scope and may be used to support an agency's mission needs. Ancillary products are limited to supporting an overall enterprise-wide services requirement.

Warranty: 

Contractor warrants Deliverables will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship under normal, proper, and intended usage or corrected under warranty coverage for a period of thirty (30) days from delivery so long as the Deliverables have not been modified by ordering activity or a third party. Warranty does not apply to defects (i) not caused by Contractor (including but not limited to changes to the Deliverables by the ordering activity or its employees or agents or third parties after delivery, changes to technical environment), or (ii) that result from changes to the project assumptions, information provided by ordering activity, and/or existing business conditions during the period of Contractor’s performance and delivery.

The Contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered hereunder are merchant-able and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract. If no implied warranties are given, an express warranty of at least 60 days must be given in accordance with FAR12.404(b)(2)

Fair Opportunity: 

Each contractor shall be given a fair opportunity to be considered for an award exceeding the micro purchase threshold unless an exception applies in accordance with FAR Part 16.505(b)(1). The SEWP online RFI/RFQ tool is the recommended method to assist in this activity and to augment the required decision documentation. The SEWP RFI/RFQ tool will automatically include the Contract Holders within a selected Group or based on a suggested source. NOTE: Fair Opportunity to all Contract Holders within one or more SEWP Groups is required. There is no requirement to obtain 3 quotes as long as all Contract Holders within a Group were provided the opportunity to provide a quote.
