{"id":850,"date":"2021-08-18T19:42:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T19:42:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/?p=850"},"modified":"2023-06-15T04:04:04","modified_gmt":"2023-06-15T04:04:04","slug":"smes-growth-one-unified-crm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/ap\/blog\/smes-growth-one-unified-crm\/","title":{"rendered":"How SMEs Can Achieve Business Growth With One Unified CRM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Many Singapore-based small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) are using digital transformation to achieve business growth, and overcome declining revenues due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.&nbsp; According to the Survey on Impact of Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) Measures on Businesses*, 53% of respondents expect their overall business revenues to decline by more than 25%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is largely due to demand uncertainty. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbf.org.sg\/images\/2021\/SBF_National_Business_Survey_2020_-_2021_Summary_Report_Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" adhocenable=\"false\" rel=\"noopener\">SBF\u2019s National Business Survey 2020\/21<\/a> revealed that uncertain demand for business services or products is the leading challenge for 59% of Singapore SMEs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" id=\"h-how-smes-can-future-proof-their-business-models-and-processes\"><b>How SMEs can future-proof their business models and processes<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital transformation is the key to overcoming these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, customers expect to be able to engage with brands digitally. They want personalised online experiences and expect consistent interactions no matter which department they talk to. SMEs will therefore have to adapt accordingly and acquire digital capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, the effective use of technology can be a differentiator for SMEs. According to our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/ap\/blog\/2020\/12\/how-smbs-prepare-for-future-crises.html\" target=\"_blank\" adhocenable=\"false\" rel=\"noopener\">Small and Medium Business Trends Report<\/a>, 51% of growing SMEs say technology drives the growth of their customer bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SBF\u2019s National Business survey revealed that 84% of businesses have accelerated their digital transformation by an average of two years. Streamlining business and operational processes will also be the priority for 19% of Singapore businesses as they seek to overcome challenges associated with COVID-19 over the next 12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" id=\"h-one-unified-view-the-core-enabler-of-digital-transformation\"><b>One unified view: the core enabler of digital transformation<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-quote-article\" style=\"\"><div class=\"wp-block-quote-social-wrapper\"><figure class=\"wp-block-quote-article-quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span>\u201c<\/span>Amid the negative impact of COVID-19 is the silver lining of a stronger push for digital transformation and manpower development by companies.
