Sherrill Nixon is the Director of Donor Relations with Australian Schools Plus, a national charity that connects schools in need with philanthropic support. She leads Schools Plus’ fundraising and communications team, and has worked as part of the executive team to help drive the organisation’s establishment and strategy since it began operating in 2014. Before joining Schools Plus, Sherrill spent 20 years as a journalist, editor and newsroom operations director at some of Australia’s leading media organisations, including Fairfax Media and AAP.
