This program offers communities access to the right tools \u2014 including the STEM resources and opportunities that are often unavailable to remote and First Nations communities. This grant is an extension of our commitment to our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reconciliation.org.au\/the-rap-framework\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reconciliation Action Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are so impressed with the work of Raise who host life-changing mentoring for students. That\u2019s why this investment is so important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"taking-stem-education-to-the-next-level-with-deadlyscience\">Taking STEM education to the next level with DeadlyScience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>DeadlyScience is building the next generation of Indigenous STEM leaders by providing them with the resources and relationships they need to see what they can be.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital capabilities are increasingly critical for both individual and collective success, yet Australia faces <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/au\/blog\/2022\/03\/global-digital-skills-index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a major digital skill gap<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salesforce is supporting DeadlyScience to help increase STEM and broader school engagement and attendance for remote Indigenous students, educate and facilitate science-based careers, and engage in a two-way learning process between Indigenous and non-Indigenous science. This allows students to see what future opportunities are available for them in STEM, while offering two-way learning for professionals to share stories and hands-on activities and demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"raising-the-future-decision-makers-with-mentoring\">Raising the future decision makers with mentoring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Raise is a powerful mentoring movement that creates thriving communities across Australia by impacting youth wellbeing and engagement through early intervention mentoring programs in high schools. Salesforce has built a strong relationship with the team at Raise, which began as a volunteering opportunity for team members to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/au\/blog\/2021\/05\/helping-future-generations-through-mentoring.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mentor students<\/a>.
