Former VP of worldwide sales at Siebel Systems will also become chairman of salesforce.com Distribution Committee
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - April 22, 2003 - Salesforce.com®, the market and technology leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM), today announced that Craig Ramsey, former vice president of worldwide sales for Siebel Systems (NASDAQ: SEBL), has been elected to salesforce.com's Board of Directors. Ramsey joins the current Board of Directors including Marc Benioff, salesforce.com chairman and CEO, Halsey Minor, founder of CNET (NASDAQ: CNET), Stratton Sclavos, president and CEO of VeriSign (NASDAQ: VRSN), and Magdalena Yesil of U.S. Venture Partners. In addition, Ramsey will become the chairman of salesforce.com's Distribution Committee, responsible for guiding the company's overall global product distribution strategy. Ramsey assumes a Board of Director's position vacated in 2000 by Lawrence J. Ellison, chairman and CEO of Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) and the first outside investor in salesforce.com.

Most recently, Ramsey served as vice president of worldwide sales for Siebel Systems. While at Siebel, he oversaw the company's sales growth from $4 million to more than $1.5 billion. Prior to Siebel, Ramsey was VP of US Sales at Oracle Corporation [NASDAQ: ORCL]. Previously, Craig held positions at Amdahl as well as other high tech software and hardware companies. Ramsey began his career in technology with IBM (NYSE: IBM) in 1968.
