Event Information

Salesforce Basecamp Melbourne 2019 will take place on Tuesday 17 September, 2019 between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Basecamp Melbourne will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This event is complimentary (excludes parking).
Your registration includes access to the keynote, breakout sessions, Customer Success Expo and networking reception.

Transportation

If you’re heading to the Exhibition Centre, ask your taxi or Uber driver to drop you off at MCEC’s Clarendon Street entrance. If you’re going to the Convention Centre, ask your driver to drop you off at Convention Centre Place, next to Pan Pacific Melbourne and DFO South Warf. We have two nearby taxi ranks – Crown, Clarendon Street and DFO, Convention Centre Place.

BY TRAM: Tram routes 96, 109 and 12 (Stop 124A Casino/MCEC) will all take you to our Clarendon Street entrance. Otherwise, tram routes 70, 75 and the City Circle (Stop D5) take you to Flinders Street. From there, it’s just a short walk up Clarendon Street until you reach us.

BY TRAIN: Our closest station is Southern Cross. Once you exit the station, you can catch the 96, 109 or 12 tram routes and arrive at MCEC in just a few stops.

BY BUS: From Monday to Friday, bus route 237 goes via Southern Cross Station to Lorimer Street, which is roughly a five-minute walk to MCEC.

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has a car park located within the Exhibition Centre. Additionally, there are secure car parks located in and around South Wharf including, South Wharf Retail Car Park, Siddeley Street Carpark, Freeway Carpark and Montague Street Carpark.

Food & Beverage

We will be serving afternoon tea with a selection of savoury and sweet snacks, in addition to our networking reception. If you have any dietary requirements, please make that note when you register.
MCEC has several options inside the venue for coffee, snacks, or dinner. Learn more here.

Flights & Accommodation

When you arrive from Melbourne Airport (also known as Tullamarine Airport), you have three options. You can catch a taxi from outside your terminal or request an Uber by following the signs outside your terminal to the pick up zones. You can also get the Skybus, which has a service called the Southbank Docklands Express that stops at the Clarendon Street entrance of MCEC. Receive 5% discount on purchasing tickets online by entering the promotional code ‘MCEC’.
Depending on the time of day, travel time via taxi from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is approximately 30mins.

Ticket & Registration

You will receive your e-Ticket via email or SMS (provided you opt-in to receive event updates via your mobile during registration) the morning of the event.

Having your e-Ticket showing on your mobile device upon arrival at the venue will allow for a speedy entry. If you do not have it available or did not receive it, you will still be able to check-in.

Please check your SPAM mailbox. If you are still unable to locate your e-Ticket you can use the email address you registered with to collect your badge.

Yes, MCEC car park provides accessible car park spaces.
MCEC is guide dog friendly and welcomes any registered assistance dogs into all areas of the building.
There are power outlets located throughout the venue. Feel free to charge wherever and when needed.

Yes. Priority seating is available in our keynote and breakout rooms. You can request this service and others when registering for Salesforce Basecamp by indicating that you have accessibility requirements. If you require reserved seating in the larger keynotes, please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the keynote begins.

 

You can request an auxiliary aid or AUSLAN sign interpreter when registering for Salesforce Basecamp by indicating that you have accessibility requirements.
