Bree Johnson is one of the founders of coffee based skin care company, Frank Body. The other two directors are Jess Hatzis and Erika Geraerts.
The founders, all under 30 and based in Melbourne, Australia, are long time friends who share a mutual love for caffeine and the internet.
They met whilst at university and have lived, worked and written together ever since. They came together to create Willow & Blake in 2011 and frank body in 2013.
Hatzis, 29, Geraerts, 26, and Johnson, 28, are co-owners and directors of Communications Agency, Willow & Blake.
The near five- year-old start up based in Melbourne specialises in written content for brands: tone of voice development, naming, copywriting and social media strategy, working with businesses both locally in Australia and throughout the US and Europe.
The three were recently co-named the #1 female entrepreneurs under 40 in Australia.
The team from Willow & Blake handled the creative and brand strategy for frank body, while their co-founders Alex Boffa and Steve Rowley focused on the logistics and expansion of the business.
24 months later, what began as a side project quickly grew into (yet another) full time job.
The frank body team has now expanded to include 12 additional staff members and a manufacturing team in Melbourne, as well as distribution facilities in Melbourne, Los Angeles, London, Vancouver and Dubai.
What comes next? That’s a whole new story that involves just as much coffee.
