Heather Saunders is the new Head of the Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP) Program, a collaborative cross-sector initiative of Good Shepherd.
Heather just returned to Australia after seven years living in the United States where her last role was as the Chief Development Officer at Juma Ventures, a social enterprise focused on breaking the cycle of poverty for youth across America. Having begun her career in the financial services industry, Heather became involved in issues of economic security through various volunteer capacities in Australia, Africa and the Asia-Pacific. Heather now has 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector.
She has held senior management positions in the area of financial inclusion at the Brotherhood of St Laurence and First Nations Foundation helping to design, implement, and drive national financial capability initiatives such as MoneyMinded and My Moola.
Mark is currently EGM Transformation at RACV with responsibility for RACV’s member experience transformation program, technology, digital and physical sales channels. Mark has been with RACV for over six years including time as General Manager for RACV’s market leading motor insurance business.
Prior to RACV Mark ran strategy, marketing and supply chain functions at Elders, was General Manager of Stuart Alexander, a privately held FMCG organisation, Country Manager of Roche Consumer Health, and also held marketing roles in Coca-Cola South Pacific and Reckitt & Colman consumer products.

Janaka is a 20-year veteran of the software industry, with over 10 years of experience in banking and software engineering on the Force.com platform. He leads a fully-stacked Salesforce engineering team at NAB, with delivery, test-automation, operations and DevOps capability.
As a technology engineering manager, Janaka led the engineering team which simplified the world’s most complex Salesforce structure.
Podium broker platform (owned by NAB), transacts $50 billion worth of loans every year, and accounts for 25% of the Australian mortgage market. Podium was the market leader in 2014, and Janaka was a member of the team which originally built Podium. In 2017 Janaka and his engineering team led the charge to transform Podium by simplifying the platform’s 2800 instances into a single partner community. The two-year transformation saw 387 new screens, 200 reusable lightning components, 2000 custom fields, integration with 30 apps and a massive data migration of 3.5 TB of data and 1.5 billion records.
Head of Financial Health and Resilience - Social Impact, NAB
Elliot leads NAB’s Financial Health and Resilience team that works to drive greater financial health, resilience and inclusion outcomes for all Australians. The team has a focus on developing sustainable solutions for those that are living on low incomes, are marginalised or that may be experiencing vulnerability, and works across NAB, community and government partners to deliver social impact.
Having been at NAB for more than 11 years and working in financial health and resilience for more than 9, Elliot has also worked for the United Nations Development Programs Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme (PFIP) working to drive great financial inclusion across the Pacific.
Peter joined the MoneyBrilliant business as Chief Executive Officer in March 2016. Since that time Peter has grown the business almost 3000% and introduced a number of innovative and unique features built in anticipation of the introduction of the Consumer Data Right and Open Banking in Australia. He also played a lead role in developing Fintech Australia’s submission to the recent review into Open Banking in Australia.

Maddison joined Suncorp as a Salesforce Functional Consultant in May 2019 where she leads on functional solution design to support business transformation across Insurance and Banking Intermediaries. Maddison joined Suncorp from Aussie Home Loans where she was part of the Digital Transformation team responsible for the Salesforce platform.
Maddison is 7x Salesforce certified and co-leads the Sydney Salesforce Women in Tech Community Group.
Working with the Insurance Industry since 2002, Steve has overseen some game-changing roles in the industry before starting Insure 247 a commercial general insurance brokerage in 2012.
He saw an opportunity to build a new type of brokerage based on service and scale.
Insure 247 has been recognised by its peers as one of Australia’s fastest-growing brokers and been ranked as number one in the top ten brokerages in the country by Insurance Business. In 2018 it opened in New Zealand.
Steve is also working on several Insuretech projects and is instrumental in changing the way insurers handle transactions with brokers.

Responsible for the product, marketing, partners, industry expertise and overall go to market strategy, Mahna and his team oversee industry products and customer engagements for the Financial Services industry.
He has been at Salesforce for over six years and was instrumental in the vision and development of Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud, the company’s first industry-specific product. Financial Services Cloud is the fastest growing cloud in the history of the company.
He has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services space, previously leading global development of IBM’s Financial Services industry solutions for business analytics and overseeing the industry marketing team.

Scott Cumming is the Area Vice President, Financial Services, Salesforce A/NZ. He leads the day-to-day operations of the FINS team which includes the GTM activities of his organisation and support and management of Salesforce’s key financial services clients. Di brings 20 years of technology sales, CRM domain expertise, business consulting and management experience to her role at salesforce. Di can speak to successfully managing global ‘Presales’ teams, experience with one of the best and unique cultures in the industry and has expertise in engaging CXOs around digital and cultural transformation along with employee engagement and change management.

Rainer joined Aussie in January 2020 as the Chief Digital Officer bringing over 20 years of digital, technology and transformation experience, from previous key leadership roles including Group General Manager for Technology at Fairfax Media and most recently, Chief Technology and Information Officer at Seven West Media.
Rainer is passionate about driving improvements and redefining the entire customer experience including channels, processes, data, operating models and culture. He is a high-energy and collaborative leader with keen business acumen and exceptional technical expertise. Elise joined Salesforce in August 2019 following 10 years working with the Salesforce platform in large enterprise businesses. She has hands-on experience in implementing new Salesforce instances as well as managing day to day functional operation. She currently works with our customers across the Financial Services industry partnering with them to transform their business and realise potential opportunities for enhancing customer success.
