Leigh Sales is an award-winning author and journalist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and currently anchors 7.30.

Until 2011, Leigh Sales anchored the prestigious Lateline program, interviewing major figures including Hillary Clinton, Tony Blair and Henry Kissinger.

From 2001 to 2005, she was the ABC's Washington Correspondent, covering stories including the aftermath of September 11, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the 2004 Presidential election and Hurricane Katrina.

From 2006 to 2008, Leigh was the ABC's National Security Correspondent, before joining Lateline. In 2005, Leigh won a Walkley Award, Australia's highest journalism honour, for her coverage of Guantanamo Bay and the case of David Hicks. Detainee 002 was released to widespread critical and commercial success in 2007, winning the prestigious George Munster Award for Independent Journalism for its assiduous investigation, quality writing and balanced reporting. The New York Review of Books lauded Detainee 002 for revealing new information about US policy at Guantanamo Bay. Australian reviewers described the book as astutely paced and absorbing (The Melbourne Age) and emasterfully done, scrupulously fair and forensically accurate (The Australian Literary Review). Leigh's writing has been published in The Monthly, The Bulletin, The Australian, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Diplomat. One of her essays was included in The Best Australian Political Writing of 2007. Her second book, On Doubt, was published in 2009 as part of Melbourne University Publishing's Little Books on Big Ideas series.

Leigh is a sought after public speaker and has appeared at the Lowy Institute for International Policy, the Sydney Institute, the National Press Club, the Australian Institute of International Affairs and the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne Writers Festivals.

She has a Masters in International Relations and a Bachelors in Journalism.

Elizabeth Broderick

Elizabeth Broderick was appointed for a five year term as Sex Discrimination Commissioner in September 2007. This term was extended for a further two years to September 2014. She was also the Commissioner responsible for Age Discrimination from September 2007 until July 2011.

During her term, she has been committed to improving gender equality through her advocacy in preventing violence against women and sexual harassment, improving lifetime economic security for women, balancing paid work and unpaid caring responsibilities, promoting women's representation in leadership and strengthening gender equality laws, monitoring and agencies.

Elizabeth has been a key advocate for Australia's national paid parental leave scheme, and domestic violence reform. She has championed the changes to the ASX Corporate Governance Principles to increase the number of women at decision making level, and she has worked with the Australian Government to strengthen gender equality laws and agencies.

Elizabeth represents Australia in the United Nations every year and has facilitated the attendance of marginalized Australian women as key advocates to address issues such as alcohol abuse and domestic violence.

In April 2011, the Government appointed Elizabeth, as Australia's Sex Discrimination Commissioner, to lead the Commission's Review into the Treatment of Women in the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Australian Defence Force. She tabled her report in the Parliament in August 2012.

Elizabeth is a member of the World Bank's Advisory Council on Gender and Development, a member of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Advisory Board, the Vic Health Advisory Board and Supply Nation.

Prior to her appointment, Elizabeth was a partner and board member at Blake Dawson. She developed the firm's business case for flexibility in the workplace. Her efforts contributed to creating a workplace where more than 20 percent of the law firm's workforce now uses flexible work arrangements.

Prior to moving to Australia, Vanessa was a Marketing Manager at B2B Training company in Montreal, Canada. She implemented both Salesforce and Marketing Automation which resulted in a 25% increased in sales the following year, really unleashing the power of aligning sales and marketing.

Vanessa has a Bachelor in Business Administration from UQAM's Business School and a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations Management from McGill University.
