Getting to and leaving ICC Sydney

I’m on my way to Salesforce World Tour Sydney.
I should arrive around 8:00 a.m. AEDT so I can check in to the event and start my day.
The event finishes at 5:00 p.m. AEDT.

The event is at the International Convention Centre Sydney. The address is 14 Darling Drive.

To leave, I will make my way to the level 2 external lifts and take the lift down to the ground floor, where there is easy access to transport and parking.

I’m travelling in a taxi or rideshare, or being dropped off.

The best taxi drop-off and pick-up locations are Iron Wharf Place, which is next to the Sofitel Darling Harbour and Zollner Circut, on the southern end of Aware Super Theatre (ICC Sydney). For either option, I will allow four to six minutes to make my way to Level 2 concourse where staff will direct me to the event entrance.

ICC accessibility information

I can find all accessibility information for the ICC venue on their Accessibility Guide, including wheelchair access, accessible toilets and parent rooms, Braille and hearing loop options. If I need support on accessing or finding the venue accessibility provisions, I can ask Abilityforce volunteers.

I will first need to go through security.

When I arrive at the venue, I will need to go through the security scanning process. This includes X-ray bag checks and metal detectors. Small and large suitcases are not permitted into the event, but I can use cloakroom facilities to store these if I need. The cloakroom is located next to the main registration area, and is free of charge for all attendees.

Next I will check in to the event.

I’ll go to the main registration area on Level 4 of ICC and after clearing security, I will make my way to the check-in help desk. I will pull up my e-ticket from my email to help me check in faster and collect my badge. Volunteers wearing Abilityforce t-shirts will be stationed at the Level 4, Hall 7 Concierge desk just after event check in. Volunteers are also stationed the Visitor Centre in Campground on Level 1.

What are the food and drink options?

I can get food and drinks in the expo hall (Halls 1-4), also called The Campground, on level 1. There will be some lower-height tables available in the catering zone, so I can easily access and collect my food and drinks.
This is subject to change.

What if I need some quiet time?

If it is too loud or I need some quiet time I can head to the Quiet Zone on level 3. This zone is a quiet area. I can access quiet and calming activities, such as raking sand gardens and colouring books.

How do I get extra help?

I can ask volunteers wearing Abilityforce t-shirts if I have accessibility requests or need any help. I can find them at the Visitor Centre, located just inside the Campground, Expo Hall 3. I can also ask any Salesforce staff, event staff, or ICC employee and they can help me too.
