In fact, Gen Z is 36% more likely than baby boomers to struggle with understanding their personal data. Despite feeling the most data angst, however, members of Gen Z are also the most willing to use AI to better understand their data to make more informed decisions that impact their well-being and financial outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it matters: <\/strong>According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ey.com\/en_us\/newsroom\/2023\/09\/financial-worry-is-a-top-driver-of-anxiety-among-gen-z-new-ey-study-finds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EY study on Gen Z<\/a>, this generation feels substantial anxiety and stress about financial stability, jobs, and other major life decisions. As the first digitally-native generation, Gen Z has grown up with an overwhelming amount of personal data to manage. The amount of data created, captured, and consumed worldwide is expected to grow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/871513\/worldwide-data-created\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more than 180 zettabytes by 2025<\/a> \u2013 equivalent to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/news-events\/news\/2023\/july\/researchers-create-co2-measurement-tool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">6.8 billion years<\/a> of continuous Netflix streaming.
