Dreamforce 2017 is in full swing, and the thousands of retailers in attendance were treated to a program packed with opportunities to learn and be inspired.

At the Marketing, Commerce and Retail lodge, brands discovered solutions that help retailers and businesses be their best. Our Store Tour with Trailblazer John Varvatos inspired and wowed those in attendance. And Marc Benioff’s keynote featured adidas and how they are unifying the shopper experience across their business, including a brand new mobile app featuring personalized newsfeed, a chatbot to field customer inquiries, and a full online store.

And, bright and early this very morning, Vibram hosted a group of dedicated runners on a scenic, minimalist run along San Francisco’s Embarcadero.

We’ve collected photos of the amazing moments that retailers and brands enjoyed during the early part of Dreamforce ’17. Athletic brand adidas, whose CEO Kasper Rørsted shared that the company is now selling 1.2 million pairs of shoes online every day, was seemingly everywhere during day one of Dreamforce. From an immersive experience in the Campground to a feature in the Dreamforce keynote to Marc’s own wardrobe! (Check out his custom adidas, made just for Dreamforce). This Trailblazer was certainly setting the pace at Dreamforce, as attendees heard all about how they successfully leverage Salesforce’s commerce, marketing and service solutions, for one unified and seamless experience.

In addition to the adidas experience, the Dreamforce Campground also featured an area dedicated to learning and innovating with Commerce Cloud. Attendees experienced hands-on demos and theater sessions covering best practices around the most top-of-mind topics in retail, including mobile, personalization and more.

Dreamforce Store Innovation Tour: John Varvatos
The Store Tour was a huge hit at Dreamforce last year, and we’ve brought it back this year with a trip to John Varvatos. Guests were invited inside the San Francisco location of the menswear brand for an intimate look at their in-store experience. Attendees browsed the apparel, networked with peers, and enjoyed music, wine, sophisticated ambiance, and innovative use of in-store technology.

Einstein Observatory
Salesforce Einstein was announced at Dreamforce last year and this year, artificial intelligence continues to be a hot topic at the event. The Einstein Observatory was a fantastic way to get to know how AI-powered personalization is shaping not just retail, but the world around us.

Minimalist Run with Vibram
Giuseppe Grandinetti, Dreamforce speaker and one of the founders of Vibram FiveFingers, hosted a minimalist run along San Francisco’s famed Embarcadero. Giuseppe guided the participants in an introductory training session on the finer points of minimalist running and the group then took off on a two mile run.

Tonight, the fun continues at AT&T Park, which will host tonight’s Dreamfest concert with Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, and new addition to the lineup, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real!
