How to Make the Most of Dreamforce ‘19 Agenda Builder

Here are a few insider tips on how to use Agenda Builder to create your personalized schedule for Dreamforce '19.

The Dreamforce ‘19 Agenda Builder is here! This is the first step in becoming a Trailblazer at this year’s Dreamforce conference.

Here are a few insider tips on how to use Agenda Builder to create your personalized schedule for Dreamforce ’19. In addition to the trail maps to help you plan your week, these are my secrets to finding and booking the best content from our 2,400+ breakouts and theater sessions, 60+ hours of hands-on workshops, over 100 Circles of Success, and 100 workshops.

Filters are your friends

Finding the right content means narrowing down the thousands of possibilities to the ones that will make an impact for you. Filters are super helpful so use them wisely! We have sessions for 18 industries, 22 roles, 43 products, 26 themes, and three levels for you to filter the Dreamforce schedule down to what you want to find. I suggest you begin with your role, as this will help you find the sessions best suited to you. Then, layer on those themes, industries, and products you’re interested in.

Bookmark your faves

To get a head start, bookmark the sessions you’re interested in attending. Then, with Agenda Builder, you can easily enroll if the time fits into your overall schedule. Be sure to arrive and check-in at least 10 minutes before the session start time to claim your seat.

Don’t miss the theater sessions

Theater sessions are short and sweet – just 20 minutes! – and these sessions contain success stories, tips, and tricks, and action-oriented information that packs a punch. We have over 1,400 20-minute theater sessions for you to choose from, so make sure to include them in your schedule, even if you’re just planning on a driveby listen.

Balance is key

I recommend attending only three or four sessions per day so you’ll still have time to explore and enjoy those unexpected micro-moments that pop up all over the Dreamforce campus. Striking a good balance is key because Dreamforce has so much to offer!

Be in the moment

Don’t let the size and scope of Dreamforce overwhelm you. Magical moments are happening all over our campus. So if you don’t get to something on your schedule, look for a repeat, a similarly-themed session, or wait for the recording to be available on Salesforce Live or on our YouTube page after the event.

Do your homework

We know that some of our sessions are super-popular and putting together your puzzle of a schedule can be challenging, which is why we have more repeats and new session formats this year than ever before. Sessions with repeats have “(n)” at the end of their session name. And will be listed in the “Related Sessions.”

Key into the keynotes

You won’t be disappointed by this year’s lineup of high-profile and celebrity speakers (to be announced) and topics in our Featured Keynotes, and Industry and Solution Keynotes so make sure you add a few of these to your list.

Walk-ins 101

Even if a session looks booked on the Agenda Builder, remember we save 25% of all seats (*except for Theaters, Hands-on-Workshops, Circles of Success, and a few workshops) for walk-ins to ensure the people who discovered something new they want to learn can attend as well. But, if you find a session you just can’t miss, get there early to ensure you get a seat.

Above all, we encourage you to see something that has nothing to do with your job or industry! Attend a Keynote for a product you aren’t familiar with, visit the Mindfulness Zone. Introduce yourself to another attendee and discover what you might have in common.

On behalf of all our speakers, session owners, and sponsors, enjoy blazing your trail at this year’s Dreamforce! Get the ball rolling — build your agenda today
