New Heroes program spotlights salesforce.com customers whose extraordinary success has made them heroes in the workplace
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — September 13, 2005 — Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the technology and market leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) announced its first class of CRM Success Heroes at Dreamforce '05. Salesforce.com is recognizing customers whose innovative and successful implementations of the company's on-demand technology have made them heroes to the people with whom they work.
"'You've made me a hero!' is a common refrain from customers I speak with," said salesforce.com chairman and CEO Marc Benioff. "Our technologies have allowed companies to redefine CRM, and the innovation we are seeing here at Dreamforce is truly inspiring. So we decided to share these incredible success stories with the larger community."
Benioff acknowledged approximately 200 CRM Success Heroes at his keynote address at Dreamforce '05 on September 12, and President Jim Steele presented awards to 24 extraordinary winners in five categories to a capacity crowd during his September 13 presentation.
"These CRM Success Heroes truly represent the best of the best," said Steele. "One of my favorite things about my job is seeing these success stories unfold. These heroes are taking CRM far beyond where any inflexible client-server legacy application could take them."
Steele presented awards in five categories: Salesforce, Salesforce Service & Support, Customization, Integration, and Appforce. Winners were based on a combination of usage metrics, technology innovation and business success related to their use of salesforce.com applications and technologies.
