Salesforce CMS supports the creation and management of all content types and makes it easy for companies to customize these to meet the needs of their business. Although video and audio files can be shared for download with Salesforce CMS, we do not currently support streaming of these media types.
Salesforce CMS is prebuilt with integration with Community Cloud and Commerce Cloud. You can start sharing content to Commerce portals and sites, as well as Community Cloud sites, portals, and forums, right out of the box.
There are no product prerequisites for using Salesforce CMS. Salesforce CMS is a hybrid CMS, meaning that you can create content inside of Salesforce CMS and extend it to any touchpoint — even third-party digital channels.
