Custom brand every employee's mobile experience.
With mySalesforce, customers can publish Salesforce apps in the App Store and Google Play with their own branding. Customers can now publicly distribute their own branded mobile app, replacing the Salesforce branding (logos, colors, icons, and more) with their own.
GDPR Compliance Support
Expanded controls to support GDPR compliance with right to be forgotten and intent to exercise rights.
This feature includes enhancements to support GDPR, including a new Individual Object added to store simple consent and intent to exercise rights, as well as expanded control over deletion of data in Big Objects and archives of Field Audit Trail to facilitate the right to be forgotten.
Private Space Peering
Build secure multi-cloud apps that span AWS and Salesforce.
Heroku Private Space Peering connects the isolated private space network to apps and services in Amazon Virtual Public Clouds that are controlled by the customer. Customers can now build apps in Heroku that connect securely and privately to workloads in AWS like a directory service.
Expanded coverage and better visibility into statistics.
Organizations coming from highly regulated industries can embed strong encryption at rest capabilities to more sensitive, proprietary, and regulated data — all while controlling the lifecycle of their encryption keys. Enhancements in this release include additional fields available for encryption and the new encryption statistics page. In the Spring ’18 Release, new fields available for encryption include: opportunity name, description, next step, contract address, and individual’s name. New Encryption Statistics offers increased visibility into how much of the org's field and file data is encrypted at rest, and whether they’re using the most current, active key.
Get intelligent assessments inside your CRM.
With Salesforce Surveys, users can create beautiful, easy-to-use forms for collecting feedback and data using the Salesforce Platform. These flexible survey and assessment tools are designed to enhance customer engagement and can be sent with one click. Watch the results roll in on reports and dashboards inside Salesforce.

Empower any developer to build AI-powered apps.
Einstein Platform Services allows you to build AI-powered apps fast by making the power of image recognition and natural language processing accessible to anyone, regardless of skill level. You can easily train deep learning models at scale using Einstein’s integrated REST APIs in Apex and Heroku. Integrate deep learning models into your apps with Einstein Vision and Language to unlock valuable customer insights from text and images, so you can bring new levels of productivity to your customers.
Einstein Analytics Explorer
Easily explore your data in a more intuitive and intelligent UI.
Analytics consumers and producers can query their data faster and easier than ever with the new enhanced explorer experience. The new chart building UI helps build your charts with granular level control on different visual properties, while the new history and property navigation view make it simple to navigate your data exploration journey.
Build powerful reports lightning fast.
Report Builder in Lightning Experience
The new Lightning report builder is now available for everyone. The completely redesigned look focuses on the business user that needs access to their data in minutes. It hides complexity of report building from users and exposes them to simple and intuitive interface that are seamless with the Lightning Experience.
Einstein Discovery Dataset Creation in Data Manager
Build Einstein Discovery datasets directly from your favorite dataflows.
Create Einstein Discovery datasets faster and easier using an Einstein Analytics dataflow. These dataflows can gather data from Salesforce objects, replicated objects, or existing Einstein Analytics datasets.
Data Manager Recipe Permissions
Create your own personal data recipes.
Recipes are so great that everybody wants to create one. Until now, you needed the Edit Analytics Dataflows permission to work with recipes, and that’s not a permission that you want to give to just anybody. We introduced a new user permission that lets users create and edit recipes without giving them access to things that you don’t want them to touch, like dataflows and replication.
Charts and Visualization
Take dashboard customization even further.
Visualize your data in more ways than ever before. Customize your charts with custom tooltips, chart markets, chart colors, and new animations. And also don't forget to check out brand-new graphs like the Time Bar and Combo charts.
Custom Theming and Branding
Customize Lightning Experience for your business.
As part of myLightning, Custom Theming and Branding for Lightning Experience lets you customize key styling elements, such as the global header color, brand image, link color, page background color and image, as well as the default banner and avatar images for groups and user profiles.
Personalize the navigation bar to suit the unique way you work.
As part of myLightning, Personalized Navigation in Lightning Experience lets you personalize the navigation bar to suit the unique way you work. You can reorder items, and even rename or remove items you've added. You can even add temporary tabs to the navigation bar to access items like a dashboard, list, or record, and make the temporary tab permanent.
Lightning Developer Components
Accelerate app development and customization with new Lightning Components.
With the Spring '18 release, we are delivering dozens of new base Lightning components, including Carousel and Tree Grid, for the Salesforce Developer and Admin community to accelerate app development and customization.
Dynamic Lightning Pages
Make your Lightning app and home pages dynamic.
As part of myLightning, Dynamic Lightning Pages let you control when a component appears on a Lightning record page by adding filter conditions and logic to its properties. Now in Spring '18, you can set visibility conditions for components on the Lightning app and home pages too.
Access Lightning Console apps programmatically.
