Hi Salesforce Alumni,

Wow! This year is flying by faster than our indoor plant collection has grown during quarantine and we can’t believe we’re already half way through. Time really flies when you’re having fun and fun is our middle name here at the Salesforce Alumni Network. And who wants to miss out on fun? Not us! That’s why we’ve compiled a list of fun, enlightening, and exciting and things that our Alum should know heading into Q3.

🏃🏼 Run, don’t walk, to Slack! What better way to celebrate Salesforce’s monumental acquisition of Slack than by launching our highly anticipated #SalesforceAlumni Slack Channel. 🔦 Shining a spotlight on a very special Veteran! Check out this month’s Alumni Spotlight on Hector Perez, an ex-Air Force combat medic who went on to start Salesforce Military to help veterans and military spouses get free Salesforce training. Read about his amazing story and what he’s been up to post-Salesforce on our Alumni Blog.

🥁 Drumroll, please... Your new Q2 Alumni Impact Award Winner is Laney Lui. Laney was with Salesforce for almost two years as an Account Executive in Commercial Sales. Now, Laney’s launched an 11-week youth leadership program for marginalized youth in the local community covering topics such as self-development, mental wellness, and social entrepreneurship. Congratulations Laney on this amazing accomplishment!
Don’t forget to stay connected with us and other #SalesforceAlumni from around the globe on our Alumni LinkedIn group. Use the group to reconnect, network, stay up to date on the latest Salesforce news, and share feedback with us.

I can’t wait to see what amazing connections our Alumni continue to make during the second half of the year and I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to meet in person again soon.
