One of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces,
A Year Later

It’s been a little over a year since we last connected. Since then, the Atlanta Hub, along with the rest of the country, has gone through a series of changes (to put it mildly) that have prompted us to evolve. Now, a year later, Salesforce Atlanta stands as a much stronger, more resilient, and efficient workplace — and we’re not the only ones who see it. It’s with great joy that I share a special recognition today — Salesforce been named one of the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Top Workplaces for the seventh year in a row.

I’ve been fortunate to be part of Salesforce for the past 19 years, spending a significant portion of that time in Atlanta, and I’ve seen a lot — our first Dreamforce in 2003, hitting the billion-dollar mark in annual revenue in 2009, the launch of Trailhead in 2014 — and now I can also say I’ve seen us successfully navigate through a global health crisis in 2020. Through all the highs and lows of almost two decades, nothing beats my experience with Salesforce Atlanta.

During one of the country’s toughest times, I’ve seen Atlanta employees unselfishly extend a great deal of southern hospitality to one another, our customers, and our communities-at-large. It’s impossible to share everything that has happened over the last year but I’d like to try to highlight the spirit of who we are as a hub. Here are some key moments that truly give you a glimpse into the types of people who make this hub so special - a local employee made 2000+ face masks for healthcare workers, BOLDorce, our Black Employee Resource Group assisted over 6,000 Atlanta residents by providing water, food, and snacks during election day, and too many VTO events to count! Giving back is at our core and it’s who we are. This is Salesforce Atlanta.

I’m deeply humbled that we’ve been recognized by The Atlanta Journal Constitution as one of the Top Workplaces in Atlanta for the seventh year; however, my pride in our hub is bigger than just today’s recognition. I’m thankful to work alongside so many amazing people who don’t just show up for each other in the office but who are truly ready to roll up their sleeves and help you as a neighbor even during the most challenging times.
