Associate Product Manager (APM)

As an APM, you will gain hands-on experience managing products for several different teams, get direct exposure to senior executives and how our business is run, work with a formal mentor to help you build your career, and participate in various trainings and events. Our Data Science team works on groundbreaking R&D projects, to leverage massive structured, unstructured, transactional and real-time data sets from a variety of sources and analyze customer patterns and make actionable recommendations using statistics, data mining, machine learning, business understanding and common sense. We develop and apply state-of-the-art big-data techniques in our cloud infrastructure that help our customers be even more successful and impact operations across Salesforce.com.

Interview process.

UX:
Our hiring process for UX roles begins with a manager resume and portfolio review. If our managers like your work, you will proceed to a 30 minute interview with a hiring manager. If successful, you’ll move to a 1-hour virtual interview with the team, which will consist of a portfolio and code review. If it's a mutual fit, an offer will be extended (timelines may vary).
APM
Our interview process begins with a 30 minute recruiter phone screen, focused on your background and interest in the role. This is accompanied by a HackerRank technical assessment. If your background is a match, you will be connected with a Product Manager for a 45-minute virtual interview. The last step will be bringing you onsite for a batch day where you'll interview with the team. If it's a mutual fit, an offer will be extended (timelines vary).
Data Science

“Working on the Platform UX team at Salesforce was such a rewarding experience because I was given the responsibility to own a design project start to finish, while still being supported by the team. I conducted my own user interviews with real users of the Salesforce mobile application, had the protocol reviewed by UX researchers on the team, and built prototypes of a vision for what the mobile application could be in the future. I even was able to present across the design teams and get feedback on my presentation, learning so much about design and working within a team in the process. I came out of the experience with a project I could be proud of, but also so many valuable connections with designers, researchers, and engineers.”
