Analyst says salesforce.com is creeping onto almost every CRM selection list

SAN FRANCISCO — Feb. 28, 2005 — Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM), today announced that AMR Research is reporting that salesforce.com is increasingly being considered by companies — regardless of size — as their CRM solution of choice because of its customization and integration features.

"With a continued focus on integration and ability to customize, Salesforce.com is creeping onto almost every Customer Relationship Management (CRM) selection list, regardless of the company size—and it's winning," said Laura Preslan, research director at AMR Research.

AMR Research also predicts in the report that "the hosted model continued to gain traction and will truly challenge the established players in 2005."

"We have experienced tremendous growth in a short amount of time because companies of all sizes and industries can achieve success with our on-demand CRM application," said Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO, salesforce.com. "Salesforce.com understands every company is unique so we provide our customers a solution that can be easily customized to fit their organization's needs. While others shackle you with vertical applications, we offer the power to be unique with your salesforce.com."
