Company announces Salesforce Tower London, dramatically expanding UK headquarters
Salesforce.com accelerates leadership becoming the #1 market share leader in the CRM software market in the UK based on total software revenue for 2013 according to Gartner, increases customer momentum with recent wins including Direct Line Group, Eurostar and TNT
Salesforce.com will open UK data centre later this year
Salesforce1 World Tour, LONDON, — 22 May 2014 — Salesforce.com, the world’s #1 CRM platform, today announced new strategic investments in the UK, including an announcement that Heron Tower in the City of London will become Salesforce Tower London - dramatically expanding the company’s UK headquarters. At the Salesforce1 World Tour London, the largest cloud conference in the UK, the company also announced it is the #1 market share leader in the CRM software market in the UK based on total software revenue for 2013 according to Gartner*, and that marquee brands including Direct Line Group (which owns and operates Direct Line, Churchill, Privilege and Green Flag), Eurostar and TNT have chosen salesforce.com.

Salesforce Tower UK: expanding UK headquarters
Salesforce.com, together with property management company Heron, announced that Heron Tower is now Salesforce Tower London. Salesforce Tower London will be the home of the salesforce.com UK Headquarters, and the company’s largest operation outside the USA. Salesforce Tower London will feature a next-generation Executive Briefing Center (EBC) to showcase salesforce.com’s innovative platform and applications. The EBC will deliver an interactive, hands-on experience that brings the Salesforce1 Platform to life—from smartphones and wearable devices to connected toothbrushes and cars. Visitors will learn firsthand how to run their business from their phone, connect their products for the Internet of Things and connect with customers in a whole new way.

In addition to being the fastest growing enterprise software company of its size, salesforce.com is now the #1 CRM software provider in the UK, with the largest market share of any vendor in the UK market. This is underscored by top brands such as Direct Line Group, Eurostar and TNT choosing salesforce.com to drive their business success in the UK. Separately, systems integrators including Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, IBM and PWC have confirmed triple-digit growth in their dedicated UK Salesforce practices in the previous fiscal year, and are expanding their offerings during salesforce.com’s FY15, which ends Jan 31, 2015.
UK Data Centre to open later this year
Salesforce.com also announced that its European Data Centre in the UK, the first in EMEA and the company’s sixth worldwide, will open later this year to support adoption of Salesforce’s cloud computing services among a growing base of UK and European customers. Two more data centres, in France and Germany, are also planned.
