Registration will be located in McCormick Place West  on Level 3. Hours are as follows: 

Tuesday, June 7 — 2:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. 

Wednesday, June 8 — 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. 

Thursday, June 9 — 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. 

Important notes:

  • All attendees must show proof of Connections registration confirmation to enter McCormick Place.

  • All attendees are subject to a mandatory security screening (magnetometer and bag check) when entering McCormick Place. Be sure to allow enough time for this prior to your arrival.

  • You will be required to show a government-issued photo ID when picking up your badge.

  • All attendees must pick up their own badge. Pickup for others is not permitted.

  • Attendees must wear their event badge at all times during conference activities. 

  • If you lose your badge, you will need to go to the Onsite Services Desk and request a new one. The replacement badge fee is $150 USD.

The best pickup/drop-off point for McCormick West is on S Indiana Ave, right outside the main entrance (Gate 40).

Yes, parking is available in Lot A located on Martin Luther King Drive, by the West Building. The parking rate is $25 for up to 16 hours and $38 from 16 to 24 hours.

Attire for Connections is business casual. Chicago’s weather can be unpredictable. Please pack layers and check the weather before you arrive.

To avoid delays, we strongly encourage you to check bags at your hotels but we will have a bag check onsite, if needed. The bag check will be on Level 1 at McCormick Place, as you enter into the building.

To provide a welcoming environment for all Connections attendees, a dedicated parent’s room will be available. The parent’s room is a private space where lactating mothers are welcome to pump. The parent's room will be located on level 1 in a Mamava unit. The parent's room is open during normal conference hours.

Connections has nine all-gender bathrooms located throughout levels 1, 2, and 3.

A light continental breakfast and lunch will be provided during the event for full conference attendees. Food is also available at The Party at Connections. To conserve water, we’re minimizing water-intensive products like beef and single-use plastic water bottles.

The Party at Connections


Yes, we will have a bag check available at Huntington Bank Pavilion at the entry to the venue. All bags will require a security search upon entry. If your bag is larger than a purse, we recommend you check your bag at the front, or leave it at your hotel.

Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island is an iconic outdoor venue on the water overlooking the Chicago skyline. This venue is a 10-minute shuttle ride or 35-minute walk from McCormick. 

  • Shuttles: For your convenience, shuttles will be provided for all conference attendees leaving from McCormick Place. The shuttles will begin loading at 5:30 p.m. and depart for Huntington Bank Pavilion at 5:45 p.m. Your badge will be required to get on the shuttle and gain entry to the concert. After the event, the shuttles will be ready to take you back to McCormick Place as well as The Fairmont, InterContinental, Palmer House Hilton, Renaissance, and Waldorf Astoria starting at 8:00 p.m.

The best pickup/drop-off point for McCormick West is on S Indiana Ave, right outside the main entrance (Gate 40). Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft, are not allowed to enter the parking lot closest to Huntington Bank Pavilion’s entrance but are permitted on nearby side streets. The Uber/Lyft Drop off will be automatically routed to Solidarity Drive, which is a 2-3 minute walk from the entrance of the venue.

The concert begins at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until 9:00 p.m.. We recommend arriving on time with the provided shuttle service in order to soak up the full experience of the evening’s events. There will be a live DJ to kick off the night and a main act to follow. Make sure you have your Connections badge with you as it is your ticket into the event.

Yes. We will have an accessible seating area located on stage left closest to the stage. Additional seats will be available farther back closer to the food stations.

A sign language interpreter will also be present for the main act of the concert and will be visible from the accessible seating section.

Yes, heavy appetizers as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served at the concert. Feel free to come hungry!

We have taken dietary restrictions into consideration and will provide options for vegan, vegetarian, and GF guests.

We encourage our party attendees to come in comfortable attire that you can dance in. Please be mindful that this venue is fully outdoors. We are planning for a beautiful sunset and 70 degree weather, but keep your eye on the forecast as things can change. We suggest bringing a jacket as it can get extra windy on the water! Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended.

There is a small pay lot called Adler Planetarium Lot that offers up to 75 parking spots close to the venue entrance. Please note these spots are first come, first served.



There is a section on the conference registration form for accessibility requirements. Please indicate “yes” in this section upon registering, or email us. A member of our team will contact you to discuss your specific requirements.

Volunteers with an “a11y” button or lollipop will be onsite to assist with any accessibility requests. Event staff will also be able to answer questions and can direct you to an accessibility volunteer.

There are power outlets throughout the venue. Feel free to charge wherever and whenever needed.

Yes. Priority seating is available in our keynote and breakout rooms. You can request this service and others when registering for Connections by indicating that you have accessibility requirements. You can also contact the Salesforce Events Help desk at connectionssupport@salesforce.com.

If you require reserved seating in the larger keynotes, please try to arrive at least 30 minutes before the keynote begins. Look for staff holding signs with the “a11y” logo who can help direct you to your seat.

ASL interpreters can be requested in advance by contacting the Salesforce Events Help desk at connectionssupport@salesforce.com. Due to the high demand for interpreters, requests should be made by June 1, 2022.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Salesforce Events Help desk at connectionssupport@salesforce.com. For a full refund of the event registration fees, cancellation notices must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. CT on Friday, May 6, 2022. Cancellation notices received between 12:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, May 7, 2022, and 11:59:59 p.m. CT on Friday, May 20, 2022, will be processed at 50% of the event registration fees. No refunds will be processed for cancellation notices received after 12:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Registrations for Connections are nontransferable.

Salesforce Health and Safety Cancellation Terms: Salesforce reserves the right to cancel your event registration without a refund if you fail to meet the event’s health and safety protocols.

We’re excited to bring our community of Trailblazers back together safely.

Alongside health and safety experts, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and no COVID-19 testing protocols or proof of vaccination will be required for Connections. As a reminder, Connections registrants must follow any health & safety entry requirements issued by Salesforce to attend the event. Entry requirements are subject to change.



Yes, Salesforce has reserved hotel blocks in nearby hotels. This limited block of rooms is available at pre-negotiated rates from June 8–9, 2022. 

When you book within the official Connections room block, you are guaranteed:

  • The lowest room rate available for the hotel
  • No cancellation fee if requested before the deadline
  • Complimentary high-speed internet and fitness center access
