With thousands of records, including nested account structures and transactional data, ensuring accurate replication and maintaining referential integrity across orgs was a time-intensive effort. Even minor discrepancies in data migration could impact reporting, compliance, and day-to-day operations.

Backup & Recover allowed them to back up and restore data automatically in case of unexpected incidents. This empowered the company to maintain data integrity, reduce operational risks, and continue business operations without disruption, even in the face of unexpected data-related incidents.

Adopting Archive then allowed them to manage data storage consumption, improve system performance, and ensure long-term business continuity. With Archive, older, less frequently accessed data could be securely stored and indexed, reducing the load on primary storage and allowing the system to run faster without losing access to historical data when needed. “We used to rely on Data Loader, which meant pulling CSVs for each object and uploading one by one,” says Rosemary Smith, Technical Product Manager at Molson Coors. “Now we can manage complex seeding through templates. It’s much faster and more reliable.”

“With Data Seeding, we are able to replicate data within minutes by creating Seed Templates,” says Mamatha. “It saves us the time of creating hierarchical relationships from scratch.”

In addition to the time savings provided by seeding templates, data masking was a critical feature. Molson Coors needed to ensure sensitive data was protected during sandbox seeding, so data masking allowed the team to mask client information before replicating it into lower environments. This ensured compliance with data protection standards and minimized risks during internal development and UAT cycles.

The team could now set templates to run automatically on a weekly or monthly basis, ensuring environments stayed current without manual intervention.
