Health and Safety
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all Dreamforce attendees is our top priority. We’re partnering with local authorities and city organizations to ensure a secure and pleasant experience for everyone involved. Comprehensive safety details, including transit options and how to access round-the-clock support during Dreamforce, are available in the Salesforce Events mobile app.
Here are some safety tips for Dreamforce attendees.
- Upon leaving Dreamforce events at Moscone, be sure to remove your badge.
- Keep your eyes up, your ears open, and your phone away on city streets and public transportation. This will lower the chance of theft and keep you safe on San Francisco’s busy streets.
- Carry your wallet in the front pocket of your pants or the inside pocket of your jacket.
- Avoid leaving bags on the ground or over the back of your chair.
- San Franciscans are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We encourage visitors to ask shopkeepers, hotel staff, or police officers for assistance.
- Move with confidence and be aware of your surroundings at all times.
- Do not stare down at your phone while walking.
- Use headphones sparingly while walking, especially noise-canceling or loud audio, so you can pay attention to the sounds around you.
- Carry minimal items and keep your hands free when walking.
- Don’t carry your room key in the paper sleeve with your room number written on it.
- Use well-lit and populated streets when possible and walk with a group.
See the DF25 Recommended Walking Paths below for the best routes to and from the Dreamforce Campus and Dreamfest.
- Always familiarize yourself with exit pathways and emergency procedures.
- As a best practice, you should remove your credentials and store them in a secure location when leaving the Dreamforce campus or heading to your hotels..
- In rideshares, share your route with someone you know.
- Most of all, trust your gut! If something feels off, find another way.
As always, you can dial 911 to:
- Report a crime in progress.
- Report an emergency situation.
- Request help for someone having a medical or psychiatric emergency.
