As always, you can dial 911 to:

  • Report a crime in progress.
  • Report an emergency situation.
  • Request help for someone having a medical or psychiatric emergency.

These tips were developed in partnership with San Francisco Travel.

If you notice anything suspicious or unsafe during your time at Dreamforce, you can text our anonymous See Something, Say Something line which is monitored 24 hours a day at +1-978-533-4357.

Meet Peers and Experts

Meetups help you tap into the experiences and expertise of your fellow participants at Dreamforce. It’s an easy way to connect and learn from each other through conversations about things you care about. Share your knowledge and book one-on-one or group conversations with other participants on the Braindate platform, then meet in person for (awesome) conversations.

A one-on-one Meetup is a 30-minute conversation that you book with another participant at an event.

If you see a one-on-one topic on the Braindate platform that interests you, you can request the author of the topic for a meeting, by proposing times to meet. Once the author accepts a proposed time, you meet with them for your Meetup at that time in the Meetups zone on Dreamforce campus.

A group Meetup is a 45-minute collaborative conversation that you have with up to five people at Dreamforce.

If you see a group Meetup topic on the Braindate platform that interests you, you can immediately join by reserving a spot. The Meetup takes place at the time proposed by the author of the topic. Once it's time for your Meetup, you meet with your group in the Meetups zone on Dreamforce campus.

The group Meetup format is best if you’d like to hear multiple perspectives on a single topic. The author of the topic acts as the moderator, making sure everyone in the group is able to contribute to the conversation.

Getting to know people at events can be difficult: Time is limited and traditional networking can feel uncomfortable. Meetups give you a platform to explore and share specific knowledge and experiences, so you can have more authentic conversations with new people who share common interests. They give you direct access to the collective genius of your fellow participants.

Post a Meetup topic about something you’re interested in discussing on the Braindate platform. Participants who want to dive into your topic with you can then send you an invitation to meet. Explore topics that interest you with the Search, Sort, and Filter functions, then send invitations for one-on-one Meetups or join group Meetups directly.

Ask the Experts is an opportunity to connect 1-to-1 with a Salesforce product pro to get answers, inspiration, and best practices.

Log into Deamforce.com, scroll down to “Meet with a Product Expert,” and click “Get Started.” From there, you can browse through all of the topics and select an expert who has availability at the best time that works for you.

Accessibility

This year is going to be our most accessible Dreamforce to date.

Teams across the Salesforce ecosystem have come together to provide features and services to enable people with disabilities to enjoy their Dreamforce journey.

Dreamforce will have English captions all three days in all keynote rooms, AI captions in breakout sessions, accessible entries, seating, stages, shuttles, low-friction turf, low-height surfaces, sighted guides for our blind and low-vision guests, a low-sensory space in the Mindfulness Meadow, and a fully staffed Disability Help Desk.

The Disability Help Desk is staffed to support guests with visible and invisible disabilities, and medical conditions. Visit the Disability Help Desk in Moscone West, Level 1, near the up escalator if we can support you in any way.

Check out our Accessible Guide to Dreamforce. This is a sensory-inclusive explanation of what to expect during your Dreamforce experience this year. This page can be listened to with a screen reader (text-to-speech) and uses inclusive language and imagery to describe your day.

We will have a dedicated Accessibility Track, including a session that features a panel of customers, partners, and employees, led by Catherine Nichols, VP of Office of Accessibility. Check out the DF Sessions Catalog and filter sessions with words like “disability,” “accessibility,” and “inclusion.”

If you need accommodation related to a disability or medical condition, please update your attendee profile and select yes on the accommodations question to specify in the text box. A representative will contact you to discuss your needs and help make your experience enjoyable.

Requests should be made by August 28, 2023, to ensure we have ample time to process. We will do our best to implement late requests but cannot guarantee they can be met.

You can also email or call the Dreamforce Help Desk Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. PT at:

U.S./Canada: +1-866-855-3818

International: +1-650-416-8832

Email: dreamforceregistration@salesforce.com

The Disability Help Desk is where people with disabilities can get support with accommodations and accessibility features. It is located in the Moscone West lobby near the up escalators, staffed with volunteers ready to assist attendees with disabilities.

If you cannot get to the Disability Help Desk, any ambassador or staffer can help you find a volunteer to get you the support you need.

Mobility devices can be prearranged through Scootaround, a recommended vendor. To ensure you’re able to get one rented in your name before your visit, check out Scootaround’s website to find the right mobility device that fits your needs.

https://scootaround.com/en/san-francisco

Please note: Attendees should have their mobility devices delivered and picked up from their hotels, not the conference center.

There will be power outlets and charging stations throughout the venue to charge your wheelchair or scooter batteries. You can also find dedicated charging stations in Dreamforest between Moscone North and South.

Registration and badge pickup is in Moscone West. Registration will have an accessible line with a low-height counter for anyone with a disability, injury, or medical condition of any kind. You can ask any ambassador for assistance in getting to the accessible registration line.

We aim to caption as many of our sessions as we can. Human-generated captions will be on the main screens in all keynote and luminary sessions.

We are piloting AI-generated captions in the breakout rooms using artificial intelligence. The larger-to-medium sessions will have AI captions streamed to a monitor in the room. The smaller sessions will have a QR code in the room where you can access AI captions on your personal device.

We appreciate your grace and feedback as AI learns Salesforce terminology and jargon.

ASL interpreters will be provided for the Broadcast Theater and for individuals upon request. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, please update your attendee profile and select yes on the accommodations question to specify in the text box.

Requests should be made by August 28, 2023, to ensure we have ample time to process. We will do our best to implement late requests but cannot guarantee they can be met.

Priority accessible seating will be available for anyone who needs it. All sessions, ranging from keynotes to theaters, will have several seats or even rows reserved for anyone needing seating accommodations.

If you need assistance in navigating to the accessible seating area, we will have Accessible Seating ambassadors with handheld signs who can assist you.

You can also ask the Disability Help Desk or any ambassador for assistance in finding and navigating to the accessible seating.

Complimentary Aira coverage will be available September 8–15 in the San Francisco area. Dreamforce attendees who are b/Blind or have low vision can download the free Aira app to their smartphone and connect to a highly trained remote agent for free and access information about their visual surroundings on demand.

Aira agents can provide visual descriptions of surroundings and activities in and around the San Francisco area, including Moscone Center and Chase Center. On request, Aira agents can access websites, digital maps, rideshare apps, and other helpful resources on your behalf — all at the tap of a button.

Download the app at aira.io/app, create a free account, and use Aira for free in any Aira Access location or with any Aira Access offer.

Tips for success:

  • It is highly recommended that users download the app before arriving in California.
  • There is no cost to you; all calls are free.
  • This is a smartphone-only experience. All you need is the Aira app for iOS or Android.
  • A wired or wireless headset is highly recommended.
  • Questions? Send an email to access@aira.io.

Yes, there will be areas of rest strategically placed around the venue and in the Dreamforest. Priority is given to individuals with disabilities, and this is indicated on the signage.

If it is too loud or you need some quiet time, head to the Mindfulness Meadow. This quiet zone is to engage in mindfulness and perform religious practices if you wish. The Mindfulness Meadow is in the YBCA Forum, located at 701 Mission Street.

Yes, we welcome you and your service animal throughout the venue. Dogs are permitted in hotel rooms, suites, and the designated outdoor dog park located on the property.

For questions regarding the shuttle or to book an advance reservation for a wheelchair-accessible shuttle, please visit the Dreamforce Shuttle Information Desk at Moscone Center West.

You can also call Kushner & Associates to make a reservation for an accessible shuttle at 818-428-7607. Be sure to contact the shuttle team at least one hour in advance so they can dispatch the shuttle to your location.

Yes. The shuttle for Dreamfest will operate from Moscone Center West, to and from Dreamfest, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you need a wheelchair-accessible shuttle to Dreamfest, please let us know at 818-428-7607 so we can schedule your pickup.

The Accessible Shuttle to Dreamfest will also run from Moscone West starting at 5:30 p.m.. To help our shuttle team prioritize your ride, reservations for return service should be made before attending Dreamfest.

Times may vary based on demand, traffic, weather, and other factors out of the control of the transportation being provided.

All meals will have a mix of vegetarian/vegan offerings. We also offer labeled options that are gluten-free (GF), dairy-free (DF), and nut-free (NF).

Breakfast will be light continental and lunches will offer a variety of salads, wraps, and sandwiches. We’ll also have an afternoon snack every day from 2:30 p.m.–3:00 p.m. in Moscone West, Campground, and Howard Street.

We ask our food vendor to label ingredients, but you can always ask a server if you are unsure of anything.

There will be low-height counters at the food and beverage stations in Dreamforest for easy access to food and drinks.

Preordered special meals can be picked up on the Yerba Buena Gardens Upper Terrace.

Every restroom in Moscone Center has an accessible stall with at least one restroom on every level. There is signage to help with wayfinding, and you can ask any ambassador where the nearest restroom is.
