Sin embargo, en la realidad, los clientes a veces deciden alejarse de la empresa para probar o empezar a comprar otros productos o servicios y esto puede ocurrir en cualquier fase del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/es\/blog\/2020\/09\/customer_journey_camino_largo_complejo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customer journey<\/a>. Se calcula dividiendo en n\u00famero de clientes que se han alejado entre el n\u00famero de clientes al principio de este intervalo temporal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un ejemplo pr\u00e1ctico: si al principio del trimestre los clientes son 230 y al final 218, significa que 12 han abandonado la empresa. 12: 230 = 5,22 %. Puede parecer un valor bajo, pero, en realidad, hay que calcular la ganancia total que no se ha conseguido por haber perdido esos clientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En consecuencia, se puede calcular tambi\u00e9n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> <span style=\"color: var(--c-nero); font-family: var(--f-secondary); font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 0.0012em;\">el n\u00famero de clientes perdidos<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <span style=\"color: var(--c-nero); font-family: var(--f-secondary); font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 0.0012em;\">el valor total del negocio perdido por las compras no realizadas<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <span style=\"color: var(--c-nero); font-family: var(--f-secondary); font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 0.0012em;\">el porcentaje del valor correspondiente<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El <b>churn rate, o customer churn<\/b>, es una m\u00e9trica que se eval\u00faa siempre junto a la tasa de retenci\u00f3n, es decir, la tasa de fidelizaci\u00f3n de clientes.
