These assistants have been invaluable, they\u2019ve freed up time, reduced repetitive tasks, and improved accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember867\">But now, a new era is unfolding, the era of <strong>Agentic AI<\/strong>. And it will change not just <em>how<\/em> we work, but <em>who<\/em> we become as leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-from-assistant-to-agent-assist-ai-executes-commands-agentic-ai-acts-with-intent\">From Assistant to Agent<br>Assist AI executes commands; <strong>Agentic AI<\/strong> acts with intent.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember870\">Instead of waiting for human prompts, it analyses goals, prioritises, and takes initiative. Imagine an AI that doesn\u2019t just report campaign performance, but <em>decides<\/em> which channel to optimise, executes the update, and measures the impact, in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember871\">This isn\u2019t science fiction. It\u2019s already happening. The <strong>global Agentic AI market<\/strong> is projected to grow from about <strong>US $28 billion in 2024<\/strong> to nearly <strong>US $127 billion by 2029<\/strong>, a compound annual growth rate of <strong>35 %<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketsandmarkets.com\/Market-Reports\/agentic-ai-market-208190735.html?\">Markets and Markets<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Salesforce, we\u2019re seeing this shift first-hand. Our own Agentic AI platform, <strong>Agentforce<\/strong>, already serves <strong>8,000 customers worldwide<\/strong> and generated over <strong>US $100 million in annual order value<\/strong> within months of launch (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfodive.com\/news\/salesforce-says-over-8000-customers-using-new-agentic-ai-platform-agentforce\/749362\/\">CFODive<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember873\">Reimagining Work and Leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember874\">According to <strong>Salesforce Research<\/strong>, HR leaders expect the use of AI agents, what some call \u201cdigital labour\u201d to grow by <strong>327 % by 2027<\/strong>, rising from 15 % today to 64 % in just two years (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/agentic-ai-impact-on-workforce\/\">Salesforce Research<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember875\">And <strong>Gartner<\/strong> predicts that by 2029, <strong>80 % of common customer-service issues<\/strong> will be resolved <em>autonomously<\/em> by AI agents, driving up to <strong>30 % reduction in operational costs<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2025-03-05-gartner-predicts-agentic-ai-will-autonomously-resolve-80-percent-of-common-customer-service-issues-without-human-intervention-by-20290\">Gartner Report<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember876\">For CMOs and marketing leaders, this means one thing: we are no longer managing teams <em>of people<\/em> alone, we are leading <strong>ecosystems of humans and agents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember877\">That requires a new kind of leadership, one grounded in <strong>trust, empathy, and mental agility<\/strong>. As a certified mental trainer, I\u2019ve learned that real transformation happens when we shift from control to co-creation. The same applies to AI. Our job is no longer to <em>command<\/em> machines, but to <em>collaborate<\/em> with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember878\">The Human Edge in an Automated World<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember879\">Technology is only as transformative as the consciousness behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember880\">In my entrepreneurial work, through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talvia.ch\/\"><strong>Talvia<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bringwomenbacktowork.com\/\"><strong>Bring Women Back to Work<\/strong><\/a><strong> (BWBW)<\/strong>, I\u2019ve witnessed how digital innovation can accelerate equality and opportunity. Yet the real breakthrough doesn\u2019t come from code; it comes from <strong>human connection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember881\">As Agentic AI evolves, we must ensure it reflects our best human values, inclusion, empathy, creativity, and ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember882\">That\u2019s why Salesforce is so focused on <strong>Trusted AI<\/strong>, building systems that are transparent, auditable, and aligned with human purpose (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/ap\/blog\/achieving-a-trusted-agentic-ai-ecosystem-salesforce-report-offers-a-roadmap\/\">Salesforce Report: Achieving a Trusted Agentic AI Ecosystem<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember883\">Marketing in the Age of Intelligent Agents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember884\">For marketers, the impact is profound. Today, fewer than <strong>10 % of marketing professionals<\/strong> use Agentic AI in their workflows (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.performancemarketingworld.com\/article\/1928327\/just-10-marketers-used-agentic-ai-work\">Performance Marketing World<\/a>). But adoption is accelerating rapidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember885\">By 2028, <strong>one in five marketing functions<\/strong> may be performed by AI agents, allowing human marketers to focus on strategy, creativity, and storytelling (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.idc.com\/2025\/03\/21\/how-agentic-ai-is-changing-the-face-of-marketing\/\">IDC Blog<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember886\">Even consumers are adapting: <strong>37 % of consumers<\/strong> and <strong>44 % of Gen Z<\/strong> say they\u2019re comfortable with AI agents delivering personalised experiences (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/ai-agents-statistics\/\">Salesforce AI Stats<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember887\">The opportunity is clear: AI will handle the mechanics; humans will elevate the meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ember888\">The Mindset Shift<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember889\">As leaders, entrepreneurs, and marketers, our challenge is not to <em>keep up<\/em> with AI, it\u2019s to <em>grow with it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember890\">Agentic AI is not replacing human intelligence. It\u2019s inviting us to evolve. It\u2019s asking us to lead with curiosity, to embrace new mental models, and to train our teams and ourselves for adaptive, emotionally intelligent collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ember891\">In this new paradigm, success belongs to those who can balance data with depth, automation with authenticity, and speed with soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-final-thought\">Final Thought<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-quote-article\" style=\"\"><div class=\"wp-block-quote-social-wrapper\"><figure class=\"wp-block-quote-article-quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are not competing with AI.
