Online Customer Relationship Management Leader Internationalizes its Service and Expands Worldwide
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — April 9, 2001 — Salesforce.com, the market leader in online customer relationship management (CRM), today announced its expansion into the worldwide marketplace with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland and Tokyo, Japan. The two-year old company also announced the internationalization of its service with expanded functionality to accommodate a global audience including localized sign up and Web sites throughout Europe, Africa, Japan and the Middle East. As part of the global expansion, salesforce.com has appointed former Oracle executive, John Appleby to lead international efforts. Appleby will reside in Dublin, Ireland.
