, the enterprise cloud computing company, today announced that EventElephant, an Irish online event management company, is using the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud from to manage thousands of events.
EventElephant has implemented the Sales Cloud, available at, to track leads and sales opportunities and build a real-time sales forecast and pipeline for the company. “All our sales information including leads, prospects and opportunities were held on a myriad of spreadsheets. We wanted this information transferred into a cloud-based solution,” said Alan Barrett, Chief Financial Officer, EventElephant. “It was crucial for us to have a real-time complete sales solution where we could grade the level of prospects to determine how much effort was needed by our sales team to push the sale over the line.”
Following the success achieved within its sales operation, EventElephant decided to move its customer support operations onto’s Service Cloud, available at The customer support team moved from a complicated process of note taking and e-mails to a solution where all interactions and communications like adding notes, attaching documents and using email templates, are recorded against the relevant account using the Service Cloud. All communications are now seamless, can be attributed to an owner within the support team and work duplication has been eliminated.
The company also moved its marketing operations onto the Sales Cloud, which allows it to manage all mass emails, surveys and email reporting in real-time.
