General Information

  • What is Data Matters?

    Each year, Krux, now part of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud family, hosts influencers and leaders from across the media and marketing landscape for Data Matters. This exclusive event is the only one of its kind, focused exclusively on the strategies, tactics, and intelligent technologies required to translate consumer data and customer insights into breakthrough business results.

    The carefully curated two-day agenda is comprised of keynotes, panel discussions, interviews, and fireside chats, drawing on the insight and wisdom of a diverse mix of industry leaders, Salesforce clients and partners, and other luminaries.

    Most importantly, Data Matters is about connection, with ample time and opportunity for all attendees to create new relationships and foster long-standing friendship.

    Data Matters is by invitation only, and this year, we are expecting over 600 attendees.

  • Who can attend Data Matters?

    Data Matters is an invitation only event, hosted by Krux and Salesforce. The attendee list is carefully curated and total attendance capped to ensure maximum relevance and value for all participants.

    Unlike many similar events, there is no registration fee for the summit. Krux and Salesforce are delighted to serve as hosts for the duration of the event, and ask only that our guests cover their own transportation and lodging costs. As part of our program, we have negotiated very agreeable discounts at our host hotel.

  • How can I sponsor?
    While we do welcome many partners and industry friends to the stage to share their diverse perspectives, unlike many events of its kind, Data Matters does not offer formal sponsor positions.
  • What are the event dates?
    This year’s summit kicks off with a Welcome Reception on Tuesday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m., general sessions conclude Thursday afternoon, and the can’t miss closing party is hosted Thursday evening.
  • Is there a dress code?
    Attire for Data Matters is business casual. Also, a light jacket or sweater is also recommended, as room temperatures can vary significantly during the day. Similarly, it can be cooler in the evenings, so prepare accordingly.

Registration

  • How do I register?
    Please go to the registration page on this website. You will be prompted to select your participant type to access the registration pages. Once you have submitted your online registration you will receive an email confirming that your registration has been received. Formal confirmation letters detailing other registration information will be emailed to you prior to the conference.
  • What is the cost to attend?
    Unlike many similar events, there is no registration fee for Data Matters. Krux and Salesforce are delighted to serve as hosts for the duration of the event, and ask only that our guests cover their own transportation and lodging costs. As part of our program, we have negotiated very agreeable discounts at our host hotel.
  • What if I have to cancel?
    If you need to cancel for any reason, you must notify us at datamatters@salesforce.com.

Venue & Travel Information

  • How do I book my hotel?

    If you require a hotel room at The Venetian Las Vegas, please make your reservation during registration process with Data Matters in order to receive the discounted conference rate of $249.00 plus tax, per room, per night. The cutoff date to receive the group rate is 12:00 p.m. PST on Friday, April 28, 2017. After this date, rooms are subject to availability at the hotel's prevailing rate. A credit card will be required to hold the reservation and a deposit of one night's stay will be charged.

  • How long does it take to get to/from McCarran International Airport to The Venentian Las Vegas?
    The Venetian Las Vegas is approximately 4.5 miles from the McCarran International Airport. It should only take about 10 minutes to get there from McCarran International Airport, but to be on the safe side, give yourself 15-20 minutes. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own airport transfers to The Venetian Las Vegas. Taxis are available at McCarran International Airport.
  • What if I want to drive there?

  • Airport Transportation
    Attendees are responsible for arranging their own airport transfers to The Venetian Las Vegas. Taxis are available at McCarran Airport.
  • Driving Directions from McCarran International Airport (estimated 10 minutes)
    1. Head southeast on McCarran Airport Connector/Paradise Road.
    2. Take the first left onto Kitty Hawk Way.
    3. Slight left onto Swenson St/Wayne Newton Blvd.
    4. Continue to follow Swenson St.
    5. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto E Tropicana Ave.
    6. Turn right onto S Las Vegas Blvd.
    7. Turn right at Siren’s Cove Blvd.
    8. Destination: 3355 S Las Vegas Blvd.
