Education Summit is a convening of Trailblazers to share stories, knowledge, and innovation focused on empowering your institution to drive efficiency, growth, and productivity. With more than 80+ sessions, learn about our latest innovations and engage with a community of educators.

Education Summit is the premier learning event for educators and admins who use technology to increase efficiency at their institutions.

Salesforce for Education connects insights across recruitment & admissions, student services, advancement, and marketing on an integrated platform for a unified view of every constituent, helping you drive learner & institution success from anywhere. Whether you’re just getting started with Salesforce for Education or you’re an expert, we have a path for everyone.

Education Summit takes place in San Diego, California at the Marriot Marquis San Diego Marina – located at 333 W Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101 – on May 13-15, 2024.

The full agenda will be released in early April 2024.

This year, we will not have a virtual program as we are focused on returning to in-person events. Selected sessions will be available for viewing on Salesforce+ in May 2024.

Salesforce+ is a new streaming service that gives you a front-row seat to select Education Summit content and unlimited access to Salesforce’s original series. Membership is free, easy, and available to everyone.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on May 14-15, 2024. Light appetizers and crafted beverages will be available at reception events. No meals will be provided on May 16, 2024.

This account will give you access to your registration details, sessions, agenda builder, and so much more.

The conference pass is valid May 13–15 and includes access to keynotes and sessions, the expo hall, breakfast and lunch, and evening receptions.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Salesforce Events Help Desk at EducationSummit@salesforce.com. For a full refund of the event registration fees, cancellation notices must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Cancellation notices received between 12:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, April 13, 2024, and 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, April 26, 2024, will be processed at 50% of the event registration fees. No refunds will be processed for cancellation notices received after 12:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Substitution requests will be processed free of charge if submitted by 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, April 26, 2024. Substitution requests after this date are subject to a USD$100 transaction fee. These cancellation terms also apply to the registration fees for all classes and events offered as part of Education Summit 2024.

Bootcamp

There are two trainings being provided at Education Summit: 

Salesforce Administrator Training - $599 w/ certification voucher to be used by 9/30/2024

Are you ready to take the next step in your career by becoming a Salesforce Certified Administrator? Hone your problem-solving skills and reinforce your knowledge of different administration and configuration scenarios tied to the exam objectives. This course includes a voucher to sit for the Salesforce Administrator certification exam. 

This bootcamp is only available for attendees who successfully register for an Education Summit Full Conference pass taking place on May 13-15, 2024.
Price include space, wifi, and meals for the day.

Education Cloud Training - $199 (no voucher included) - AT CAPACITY

You cannot purchase a Bootcamp-only pass.

No, computers are not provided at the Administrator Bootcamp. Attendees will need to bring their own computer with the ability to access an internet browser.

There will not be any onsite certification opportunities at bootcamp. Customers will receive one certification voucher that must be used before September 30, 2024. This voucher is only available with the Salesforce Admin training.

*aRes Travel is a third-party travel planner. Rates, deposits, and cancellation policies may vary and are the responsibility of the guest. Questions on hotel policies or payments made on aRes website should be directed to the aRes Reservation Center or to the hotel directly.

After registering, you will be able to book or make changes to a reservation by logging into the Education Summit portal. Changes can be made up until the housing cutoff deadline, Wednesday, April 17 at 4:00 p.m. PT.

If you booked your hotel after the deadline of April 17, please contact your hotel directly to make changes.

Yes. All hotels require a one-night deposit as a guarantee. The credit card used to make your hotel reservation will be charged the equivalent of one night’s room plus tax after the hotel cutoff date.

Please contact the hotel directly to request a receipt for your hotel cost after your stay is complete.

Yes, as long as you are the cardholder for the credit card you present at check-in.

Hotel reservations made through Education Summit registration are not transferable. The substituting attendee will need to complete a new hotel reservation through the registration process and submit a new credit card to secure the reservation.

No. To obtain the discounted Education Summit rates, new reservations and changes must be made through the Education Summit Help Desk or My Info page on Rainfocus.

You will receive a hotel final confirmation number from the Housing Team by April 25, 2024.

If you reserved a room at the Marriot Marquis San Diego Marina during the Education Summit registration process, cancellations must be made 72 hours before the scheduled arrival date. Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax. The hotel will charge this penalty fee to the credit card on file.

No. All attendees must register and book their own hotel reservations.

If you don’t check in to your hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation. The hotel can choose not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged a penalty of the cost of one night’s room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel chooses to reinstate your reservation.

Travel

San Diego’s weather can be unpredictable. Please pack layers and check weather.com before you arrive.

San Diego International Airport is the closest airport and is about 3 miles away.

You can request an invitation letter to accompany your visa application to attend Education Summit during the registration process. Your registration must be paid in full before your letter of invitation can be issued.

Please note that requesting a visa invitation letter does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend Education Summit. Additionally, you are responsible for submitting your visa application to your local embassy/consulate; conference management will not submit it on your behalf. All requests are subject to review and approval. Please allow up to 10 business days for requests to be reviewed.

Education Summit is open to international travelers who abide by regional travel restrictions and guidelines.

Our Session Catalog will be released in early April 2024. This will include all speakers.

Our Agenda Builder will be released in late April 2024. This will include the agenda, specific tracks, and learning topics.

Keynotes
Latest product innovations and the biggest announcements from Salesforce with live demos, luminaries, and stories of customer success.

Breakouts
A 30–40 minute presentation on a specific product, feature, topic or solution. The longer length allows for a 5–10 minute Q&A portion with the presenters. A Deep Dive breakout = 40–75 minutes to allow for a more focused, in-depth presentation, typically technical in nature.

Theaters
A quick 20-minute introductory and informative session on a specific topic. Can be tips and tricks or a how-to presentation.

Roundtables
Small group discussions on a particular topic. Opportunity to network and discuss common challenges facing the Salesforce community and experts.

Hands-on Workshops
Expert-led trainings to learn a product or skill. Devices may be provided or you can bring your own. Check the session abstract to confirm whether a device will be provided.

Health & Safety

Salesforce is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with local state and city guidelines, we are currently not requiring proof of vaccination or implementing a testing protocol for Education Summit. This is always subject to change.
