And Salesforce leaders showcased how new innovations in technology are helping companies thrive from anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s clear is that post COVID-19, business playbooks around the world are being rewritten. Success is increasingly about doing well and doing good. That means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delivering unforgettable customer experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building a digital headquarter for a work-from-anywhere world<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prioritising employee safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Committing to net zero \u2013 now.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Against this backdrop, here\u2019s what we learned at Salesforce Live: India:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" id=\"1-customers-want-to-be-wowed-and-salesforce-customer-360-helps-you-do-that\"><span>1. Agents have complete visibility into each customer\u2019s loan history, documents, follow-ups, and other relevant data \u2013 all on a single screen. So, they\u2019re able to resolve customer queries faster and smarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Collaboration across teams is also simple because everyone is connected on one platform. Together, they\u2019re making it easier for customers to fulfill their dreams of owning a home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, <b>Asian Paints<\/b> has been innovating with customer experiences for years. They\u2019re already known for their category-creating products. Now they\u2019re using technology to close the gap between their teams and customers. For example, with AI\/ ML, they\u2019re uncovering insights about what customers want, faster. This is helping them forge stronger relationships, and build products that customers love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" id=\"3-everyone-benefits-from-digital-transformation-not-just-large-enterprises\"><span>3. Everyone benefits from digital transformation \u2013 not just large enterprises <\/span> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>COVID-19 changed the game, making digital transformation an imperative for organisations of all sizes, across all industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leading the way for mid-sized companies is <b>Gemini Power Hydraulics<\/b>. The technology-first manufacturer has invested heavily in digitalisation to re-invent business processes, and offer customers maximum value at every step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With technologies like Salesforce, they\u2019ve broken down information barriers and organisational silos. So, cross-functional teams can work together more efficiently to create frictionless customer journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has also automated business processes, resulting in a 60% boost in sales productivity, as well as a 10% improvement in service productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next up? The non-profit is transforming India\u2019s education system at scale by empowering its heart &#8211; teachers. Through their flagship app, Meghshala provides innovative teaching kits filled with images, videos, activities, and strategies. This helps teachers convert classrooms into active learning spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we continue to navigate 2022 and beyond, climate change remains our single biggest challenge. <b>Sonam Wangchuk<\/b> \u2013 noted engineer, educationist, and environmentalist \u2013 highlighted three steps businesses can take to protect the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, ensure that everyone in the organisation \u2013 from the leadership team downwards \u2013 internalises the urgency of climate action. Second, practice sustainability not just within your business but across all your engagements, including the supply chain. Finally, remember that every effort to mitigate climate change counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we at Salesforce introduced sustainability as our fifth core value. With <a href=\"http:\/\/1t.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1t.org<\/a> &#8211; we\u2019ve pledged to plant more than 43.5 million trees globally, of which 1 million will be planted in India. We\u2019ve also launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/in\/products\/net-zero-cloud\/overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Net Zero Cloud<\/a> to help businesses track and reduce their carbon footprint faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the day, Salesforce is more than just a business &#8211; we\u2019re an economy of trust powered by 15 million Trailblazers worldwide. And in a year of ongoing disruption, the impact we\u2019ve had on job creation has been a real highlight. According to IDC, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/press-releases\/2021\/09\/20\/idc-salesforce-economy-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salesforce Economy will contribute 9.3 million jobs and $1.6 trillion in economic impact <\/a>worldwide.
