Claude Code makes it easy to pull crucial context from conversations straight into developer coding sessions by tagging Claude in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/slack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slack<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Anthropic noted, \u201cthe critical context around engineering work often lives in Slack, including bug reports, feature requests, and engineering discussion. When a bug report appears or a teammate needs a code fix, you can now tag Claude in Slack to automatically spin up a Claude Code session using the surrounding context.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Claude Code in Slack\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XpXImenrSPI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;While this is a powerful use case on its own, it also signals the broader transformation underway in Slack as we become an agentic work OS. This is true multiplayer collaboration, where multiple people interact with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/in\/agentforce\/ai-agents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AI agents<\/a> in shared channels and threads so humans and agents see the same context, build on each other&#8217;s queries, and work together on AI-generated outputs like canvases \u2013 a unique experience that&#8217;s not available on other AI platforms.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innovative companies like OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Writer, Dropbox, Notion, Cognition, Vercel, and Cursor are <a href=\"https:\/\/agentblazercommunity.slack.com\/marketplace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bringing their agents to Slack<\/a>, delivering powerful AI where employees already work. These agents make intelligence instantly accessible in channels, threads, and DMs, from chatting with ChatGPT or Claude to asking Notion AI about content across a workspace. With Slack\u2019s ecosystem of more than 2,600 third-party apps, customers can consolidate workflows, minimize context switching, and give teams a faster path from question to outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve also introduced our own agents inside Slack, including <a href=\"https:\/\/slack.com\/community\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slackbot now in preview<\/a>.
