Fifty percent of U.S. adults who identified as fans of F1 said they became fans within the past four years, according to a September 2022 survey conducted by F1 across seven markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F1\u2019s \u201cDrive to Survive\u201d Season 4, which aired in 2022, was its best performing series yet, reaching <a href=\"https:\/\/us.motorsport.com\/f1\/news\/f1-and-netflix-reveal-drive-to-survive-season-five-release-date\/10420013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">number one worldwide<\/a> on Netflix and breaking into the weekly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/latest\/article.breaking-formula-1-drive-to-survive-confirmed-for-5th-and-6th-seasons-on.4bzutl481ANKWQCZBTPeWa.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Top 10<\/a> in 56 countries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its fan base growing quickly, F1 began conducting a transformation to better understand its new rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Connected Customer report<\/a>, 65% of them prefer to engage with a brand through digital channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armed with this information and trove of first-party
