That\u2019s why standing out is a necessity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a marketer, one of the ways I stay on top of market trends \u2014 I look to my kids. They\u2019re on Tiktok, Roblox, etc. They&#8217;re in these places I need to understand to stay current in my job.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have to keep that beginner&#8217;s mind about the channels we\u2019ve traditionally relied on, too. Take TV. We no longer just have to rely on viewer ratings or how many people saw a show, because advancements in smart TVs will allow us to start seeing a more detailed picture and personalize the experiences we provide there. That\u2019s something we\u2019re already doing on our streaming service, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/plus\">Salesfo<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/plus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">r<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/plus\">ce+ <\/a>\u2014 using data to give audiences more relevant, customized content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><span class=\"js-twitter-inline\">It&#8217;s a really exciting time to be a marketer because you don\u2019t have to have just one message that goes to millions of people \u2014 you can personalize each message for each person.
