Each program provides service members and military spouses hands-on experience to prepare for a transition into Salesforce&nbsp;careers at no cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why it&#8217;s important: <\/strong>The need for digitally skilled talent is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/digital-skills-gap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">growing<\/a> while<strong> <\/strong>the technology sector, including Salesforce, works to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/stories\/salesforce-women-non-binary-hiring-2022\/#:~:text=Equality-,Salesforce%20Commits%20to%20a%20Workforce%20with%20at%20Least%2040%25%20Women,Binary%20Employees%20in%20Four%20Years\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">diversify its ranks<\/a>. The military ecosystem, including active duty, veterans, and military spouses, offers a broad hiring base of diverse talent well-suited to the industry. However, this talent pool is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/social-trends\/2019\/09\/10\/the-transition-to-post-military-employment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">historically underrepresented<\/a> in the workplace.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How it works: <\/strong>The two programs help transitioning service members and military spouses gain valuable industry experience through classes, certifications, and support they need for successful tech careers within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/news\/press-releases\/2021\/09\/20\/idc-salesforce-economy-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Salesforce ecosystem<\/a>, which includes customers, partners, and now, internally at Salesforce.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through a comprehensive interview process, fellows are carefully matched with participating host companies based on the candidate\u2019s skills and the preferences of both parties.
