Cindy Bolt - Senior Vice President, Industry Advisor - MAE & TTH
Cindy Bolt, Senior Vice President for Salesforce Industries, joined Salesforce in September 2013. She led the strategic creation of the Salesforce Industries organization chartered to deliver on the customer success platform by tailoring its technology and content to select vertical markets. A key growth strategy for Salesforce, her focus on industries spanned across 6 industries with specialization in the Manufacturing and Services Industries.
Prior to her current role, she was Group Vice President, Sales Strategy, for North American Applications since June 2008. She was a co-executive sponsor for the internal Consumer Goods Industry Board and a member of the North American Sales Server Board. Prior, Ms. Bolt was a Group Vice President of CRM in the Retail, Transportation & Travel, and Consumer, Communications, and Manufacturing industries since June 2006. Ms. Bolt was also the Area Vice President, North America, of ERP Applications for the Manufacturing Strategic Accounts since 2002.
Prior to that role she held regional management roles and served as a global account manager and sales account manager from 1994-2002. She also established a sales organization for the start-up VideoNet Corporation. Ms. Bolt held sales positions for Digital Equipment Corporation and NBI from 1985-1994.
Prior to working in the technology industry, Ms. Bolt was a junior economist with the General Account Office from 1983-1985. Ms. Bolt holds a BS in Economics with a minor in Math from New York State University at Oswego. She has also taken MBA courses from the University of Chicago in Marketing, Economics, and Accounting.
As for hobbies, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, traveling, car rallies and playing with her English Bull Terrier and Australian shepard dogs named Phelps and Lady.
