Salesforce Supports GoHenry as it Tackles the Childhood Financial Literacy Gap

GoHenry

Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, today announced it is working with GoHenry, the prepaid debit card and financial education app for 6 to 18-year-olds. Salesforce technology supports GoHenry’s digital infrastructure, centralizing collaboration using Slack, and leveraging both Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Combined, these innovations are helping GoHenry achieve its goal to make every kid smart with money as it looks to help close the gap in early financial literacy for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

GoHenry is experiencing a period of rapid growth, with its member base increasing from one million to over two million across the U.K. and U.S. in the past two years. Leveraging Salesforce technology GoHenry is quickly scaling and optimizing its operations to meet growth needs.

With over 100 member service agents, Slack acts as the company’s digital HQ, connecting its people, tools, customers, and partners in a central hub that also provides the flexibility to choose where, how, and when they work best. With Service Cloud, GoHenry can send employees on a guided journey to help log cases faster, while automated processes and centralized data give employees the right tools to serve customers quickly and efficiently. Employees can continuously improve how they use the technology by leveraging Trailhead, Salesforce’s free online learning platform, while Marketing Cloud is helping to deliver personalized onboarding and engagement journeys for customers.

A pioneer in its field, GoHenry is already transformational in helping children and teens manage their money and most recently introduced Money Missions, which are in-app gamified money lessons designed to promote better financial literacy, making it the only financial education app that delivers the theory (Money Missions) and the practice (app and card) in one package.

GoHenry, with the help of Salesforce, has everything it needs to scale globally while continuing to keep customers at the heart of its operations. It also helps the company to connect more data and processes, break down silos and unlock richer metrics across the entire organization.

Louise Hill, COO and Co-Founder of GoHenry said, “Since we launched 10 years ago, financial education has always been our number one priority with our customers at the heart of everything we do. Salesforce and Slack have been crucial as we scale globally, enabling us to provide our customers with the best possible service and, ultimately, help more kids to be money confident.”

“We are proud to be helping GoHenry build greater personalization into its model, providing 360 views of their customer base,” said Ryan Joyce, Head of Fintech at Salesforce UK. “Users can now receive tailored communications and messaging, as well as automatic notifications about their child’s progress on their interactive learning platform, all of which add immense value to the customer experience.”
