Supporting UK Small Businesses Through COVID-19 Recovery

Small businesses are the heart of our communities and they have been hit especially hard by the COVID-19 global crisis. As small businesses manage the initial crisis response and begin to prepare for a second phase of recovery and reopening, we care deeply about supporting them with the complex challenges they face.

Today, we’re announcing a new effort to help small businesses in the UK access the resources they need to recover and support their resilience — Salesforce Care Small Business Grants.

Salesforce will be working with small business support network Enterprise Nation to offer Salesforce Care Small Business Grants of £5,000, providing capital to help keep businesses afloat. These grants will support small businesses as they work to reopen, get back to a ‘new normal’ and adapt their business model to overcome these challenging times.

The Salesforce Care Small Business Grants are part of Salesforce’s wider commitment to support small businesses around the world, with $5m being offered globally; $1m for the UK.

The grant application will be available to all UK businesses with 2 to 50 employees subject to eligibility criteria from 18th May, and will be administered by Enterprise Nation through a selection process.

Small businesses play a huge role in the UK’s economy, fuelling new ideas and addressing underserved markets. We encourage everyone to support small businesses in their local communities.

Salesforce is also offering solutions and resources to help companies of all sizes and in any industry including Salesforce Care, a set of free rapid response solutions to help companies stay connected to their employees, customers and partners during the crisis.
