Trailblazer.me Profile: A Trusted Resume for the Salesforce Economy
In the new world of work, traditional resumes that focus on education and work experience often fail to capture the core competencies needed to succeed in a job. Now anyone can display their continued learning, certifications, and connections across all Salesforce technologies in a single source of truth. Innovations include:
- Earn and Display New Ranks: Earn new Ranger learning ranks on Trailhead to showcase depth of knowledge across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Showcase Ecosystem Certifications: Display MuleSoft, Slack, and Tableau certifications on their profile alongside their Salesforce certifications for a comprehensive view of expertise.
- Display Community Tags: Highlight the communities they are part of and career personas on their profile, to enable people on similar professional paths to discover and connect with each other.
We sat down with Kris Lande, SVP of Trailblazer Ecosystem at Salesforce, to discuss the innovations and opportunities ahead in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Q. Can you tell us what the Trailblazer.me Profile is and why it’s important?
The Trailblazer.me Profile is the trusted Salesforce resume, providing a complete view of an individual’s skills, certifications, accomplishments, and connections. Trailblazers’ – what we call the millions of people using Salesforce to learn and innovate – proven skills are displayed in a personalized Skills Graph on their profile, giving current and future employers a clear view of an individual’s competencies.
What sets the Trailblazer.me Profile apart from traditional resume or a LinkedIn profile is that it verifies your Salesforce skills. The profile is connected to Trailhead – Salesforce’s free, online learning platform – which documents and validates skills and learning.

Q. What new features is Salesforce adding to the Trailblazer.me Profile?
Today we’re announcing three new innovations for the Trailblazer.me Profile.
First, we’re introducing new Ranger Ranks to recognize our community’s commitment to ongoing learning. Today, Ranger is the highest rank awarded to Trailblazers who stand at the forefront of innovation across the Salesforce ecosystem. But, many go above and beyond the already exceptional level of skill development achieved by our Rangers. By rolling out new Ranger Ranks, these Trailblazers can now display their extended expertise and continued learning to current and future employers.
Second, we’re giving Trailblazers the ability to display their MuleSoft, Slack, and Tableau certifications on their profile, which previously only showcased Salesforce certifications. This innovation will allow Trailblazers to provide a comprehensive view of their credentialed expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Third, we’re adding Community Tags, so every Trailblazer – whether they are a #AwesomeAdmin, #Muley, #SlackStar, or #DataDev, to name a few – can add their persona to their profiles. The addition of Community Tags will empower every Trailblazer to showcase the communities they belong to and find like-minded community members.
Q. Can you tell us more about the opportunities the Salesforce ecosystem is creating?
Over the next four years, Salesforce and its ecosystem of partners are expected to create 9.3 million new jobs. Salesforce will also drive tremendous growth for its partner ecosystem, which will make $6.19 for every $1 Salesforce makes by 2026.
