Tony Prophet is the Chief Equality and Recruiting Officer. In his role, he helps guide global recruiting programs to foster an inclusive lens at every step, while working to build a workplace that embodies equality and inclusion. The team also leads the Ethical & Humane Use initiative — formed to help ensure our technology not only drives customer success, but also helps drive positive social change and improves the lives of people around the world. He also serves as a co-chair of the Salesforce Racial Equality and Justice Task Force created to help drive systemic change in our workplace and community.

Prophet is a board member of College Track — a nonprofit focused on empowering students from low-income communities to become the first in their family to graduate from college.

Previously at Microsoft, he held senior product marketing roles including Corporate Vice President (CVP) Windows Marketing. While there, he was the founding executive of Blacklight — to empower Black marketers — and was a co-executive sponsor of Blacks at Microsoft.

Before that, he led Worldwide Operations for HP's PC and Printing business. While there, HP delivered more than 400 Million PCs to customers around the world. At HP, he advocated for programs related to human rights in the tech supply chain -- including educating women factory workers on reproductive health issues; improving issues related to migrant workers in China; and stemming the flow of conflict minerals which can fuel the exploitation of women and children.

Prophet holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
