As we kick off a new fiscal year, it\u2019s a great time to reflect on several significant environmental milestones Salesforce accomplished in FY2018.<\/p>

Let\u2019s take a look at the milestones that we are proud of:<\/p>

Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions – April, 2017<\/b><\/p>

We announced that Salesforce achieved net-zero greenhouse gas emissions<\/a> and is delivering a carbon neutral cloud to all of our 150,000 customers. We achieved this by building on longstanding efforts to drive efficiency in our operations, executing two 12-year renewable energy agreements, and supporting sustainable development projects through the purchase of high-quality carbon credits.<\/p>

Earth Month – April, 2017<\/b><\/p>

Employees celebrated Earth Month<\/a> bigger and better than ever. Our green team, Earthforce, made up of over 6,000 employee champions, brought sustainability to life throughout the month. Together employees logged over 3,000 hours of volunteer time, partnering with 64 external organizations throughout the month. In addition, 25 offices across the world held Earth Day celebrations.<\/p>
