This week Salesforce was out in full force at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference, announcing new innovations<\/a> in Health Cloud. The enhancements will enable healthcare organizations to provide more connected, intelligent patient engagement and improve outcomes. We also announced a major partnership<\/a> with Cerner that allows patients to participate in their physician\u2019s decision-making and more easily engage in their own health and care.<\/p>

Here are additional highlights from the conference:<\/p>

NYU\u2019s Langone Health center announced<\/a> the launch of a first-of-its-kind clinical affairs patient access center platform that streamlines and optimizes the way call center agents interact with patients. The new platform provides agents with a holistic and customized view of a patient’s needs by providing access to both Salesforce Health Cloud and the electronic health record through real-time integration.<\/p>

Also, Salesforce\u2019s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Josh Newman breaks down the latest Salesforce Health Cloud additions in a video interview<\/a> filmed at HIMSS. <\/p>
