Taylor sat down for a wide-ranging video interview with Bloomberg&#8217;s Emily Chang.<\/p><p>He discussed Salesforce\u2019s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/company\/news-press\/stories\/2018\/3\/032018\/\"> agreement to acquire Mulesoft<\/a>, the upcoming TrailheaDX developer conference, and the technology industry coming to grips with its impact on society. He also emphasized how important it is for organizations to lead with values like trust.<\/p><p>\u201cThe most important thing in our industry is trust, and it is extremely important that your company is crafted around your values,\u201d he said.<\/p><p>A respected software engineer and executive who has helped build widely used products, Bret was most recently the co-founder and CEO of Quip, the innovative collaboration platform Salesforce acquired in 2016.
