Image courtesy of the artist and Boston Properties.<\/i><\/p><p>After the day spent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/company\/news-press\/stories\/2018\/5\/052218\/\">celebrating the grand opening<\/a> of Salesforce Tower, the top six floors of the sleek 1,070-foot skyscraper came to life, shrouded by thick fog, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimcampbell.tv\/portfolio\/public_art\/salesforce_tower\/\">Bay Area artist Jim Campbell\u2019s \u201cDay for Night\u201d <\/a>exhibit of 11,000 LEDs displaying low-resolution, moving color imagery. Campbell\u2019s other public commissions include a 1,000-foot ceiling sculpture at the San Diego Airport.<\/p><p>Earlier Tuesday Salesforce CEO and Chairman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/company\/news-press\/stories\/2018\/5\/052218-b\/\">Marc Benioff urged a crowd<\/a> of several hundred at the grand opening ceremony to make a commitment to address homelessness and other civic problems in San Francisco. <\/p><p>Salesforce Tower is the tallest U.S. office building west of Chicago and the tallest building in San Francisco.
